  • Stuart Collins as they allow me to be out of UK for entire policy

  • Cheers, will investigate

  • I started making 2 slide out trays for under my bed, 1 for my bikes and 1 for all my crap.
What better place to do this than on a camping...

  • Your fellow campers will love your circular saw noise and possible tripping of the electrics...

  • Didn't piss anyone off yet or trip the power:)
Hope to be able to fit one more mtb on the tray, but its gonna be tight

  • Awesome! Are you painting it yourself?

  • Yes! Military paint, goes on quite nice

  • Does it go straight on top of the original paint? Interested to see the results!

  • Yes, just needs keying up, few evenings with the sander. Any bare metal bits treated with etch primer, get another coat on today. Then tonight prep the next bit

  • Coat two

  • Update; nearly done! Red door has completely gone now. Just a last coat here and there. Kids have done well, youngest has been in a sling a lot and is now done with me and painting… sorry!

  • Is that awning worth the money? They're big bucks

  • 110%, ruddock race homes sell them cheaper; this one has a dent about 10p sized? On the top, you obviously can’t see and it’s tiny anyway, knocked £75 off.

  • Their own brand? What the cost?

Was going to do a tarp and poles.

  • Fiamma f45s, if your bolting to a roof rack, or a f80s (depending on van)

Fiamma do all their own brackets to
Fit every vehicle; do not be tempted by thule, got one, it was dog shit, sold it on

  • This is currently parked opposite my drum. Really nice.

  • Finished my slide-outs and I'm quite happy! Wish the bed was a tiny bit higher though, only dropping the dropper of the mtb is not enough anymore...

  • Very nice - great looking bike, van and location

  • I bought a couple of these suction cups to use with a tarp. They seem to be super strong but i didn't get around to use them yet.

  • Mot failed; exhaust rusted through the flexi and bushes, now sorted. No van for a few weeks sucks!

    Bonnet complete,
    Roof first coat
Ordered 245/75/16 tyres as I’m gifting these wheels / tyres to a friend - 2” diameter increase lifting the van an inch!
15mm wheel spacers going on too
    Next;
Led light bar for the front of the roof rack
Build a shelf or two above kitchen area for parked up storage
    Paint loads of the interior

  • Do you drive off road? I did one, was a rattly slow experience.
