Decided on taking some fairly contemporary (<with the frame I mean, around 2000 ish at a guess) Campag: a mix of Chorus and Centaur with Record cranks, not a proper group, with some Electron wheels. Really excited to get this built.
Just need a stem, pedals and cables and bartape, and I think I'm there. Starting to wish I'd taken that ITM off you Tel. Thing is I can't stand the look of them!

Beautiful frame !! Just spotted this thread and thought I'd let you guys know that we (Bikesales4u) have just started sales and distribution of Duell frames here in the UK. Still all handmade by Jan Van Dalen and John Van Herwenden with that famous signature under the BB. We have road frames at present but I've asked them to produce a SS frame which should be available shortly. If there are any Duell frame owners out there, thought might be a good idea to start a Duell owners club/facebook page or other ideas of showing off these classic frames. Anyone interested please let me know.

I'm not a Facebook fan, but a thread like this couldn't hurt - http://www.lfgss.com/thread2960.html
Just putting the final touches to my own first classic/modern mix Duell build - the test rides so far have been great!

PPS. Off-topic, but when oh when will the otherwise well-conceived BELLA CIAO lightweight "ladies bikes" at the above link have a size smaller than 54cm? I would have thought it's the smaller women who are least able to make do with lightweight frames built for men.

Hi Hamd
1st - thanks for info on broken link -- now fixed. 2nd. I agree about needing a smaller Bella Ciao ladies bike - I've asked them to produce one for the UK market should be available shortly. -

Cheers to the replies - might start that Duell thread myself, once I have something more useful to discuss about Duells. Given I have only the handlebar tape left to finish my build, that might not take too long. Would be really embarrassing if Skully, starting from the bare frame, beats me to it...
I'm having it! relax. And I won't f-ing repaint it either!
I'm picking it up this afternoon.
