or for more of a 'group ride', the classic checkpoint race. ride to checkpoint 1 and be given the location of checkpoint 2 etc... would sort out who is actually the fastest too

You will be racing tho. Suppose we could have just 2 humans, once everyone has hit one checkpoint the human would go to the 3rd point. Bit wisky tho

Just back and forth haha. I have a plan for one but I'm sort of new and feel like a bell end trying to organise. It's like start down scotswood road, blast to tanners or the clung (or somewhere like that), a Marshall will be waiting with a pub quiz for each rider, fill it out, pocket it and ride back, 5 points per correct answer, 10 points for first, 5 for being back within a time limit, -10 if your late. Just spit balling here.

haha sounds a bit stressful. i can see people doing the quiz while riding back.
