• maybe I can grab one from someone at polo tomorrow?

  • got cordless, and just emailed 90000 people who i havent spoken to in 20 years. ... i think bill is on that list.

  • I was planning on doing court building, but I could drive over to get smoothies. Depends if the car is fixed by then, it's at the garage now.

sounds good, otherwise jono is going to have to take another afternoon off work i think.
Let me know if you think you can and I'll send you the address etc

  • Zoe, I PMd you.

  • Parosh polo are out, down to 54, even number again though which is good.

  • guys, tomorrow will be arriving in town 5 Berlin players, they were asking where the games will be....

  • Mitch mitch mitch

  • I told them that

  • mitch on friday too?

  • Should be Downs on Friday... Help out with the courts and get a bit of time to get used to it? :)

  • No Ben, no play on Downs on Friday*, Downs for building (volunteers) and Downham for throw-ins, then the polocat.

    • The MUGA can be used inbetween building stints, but polo players should not come to Downs looking for games on the new courts, please just help us get things nailed in place, people playing games may get in the way, etc.

(We're also not meant to be playing/at Downs on friday, so the less impact the better.)

Sorry to spoil your sell but we'll also have loads of 48h Sputnik rims that we need to shift at the Open, £20 each.

Friday Polo barbecue @ Downham before the polocat?

That would be awesome, it requires a volunteer/chef/etc though...

  • Thanks to everyone who is going to help on fri and can lend tools. As Jono said it will be easier if people who want to play could go to another court and leave Downs free for court building.

  • Newington will be free if people want to play games, so is the unused Mitch-sized court in the Heygate estate.

  • But they are south.

  • That they are.

  • The polocat is starting from Downham.

  • i imagine that you guys have already talked about this, but just wondering if there'll be a wheel truing stand in or around the courts over the weekend?

  • If visitors to town are looking to do other stuff over the weekend and take a break from the polo, there are a good few events happening. There is a festival of the bicycle happening only a short ride away from the courts in Mabley Green

There's also a bridges ride from the west side of the city to the east, starting at 10pm.
    More information on it here:
    http://www.lfgss.com/thread67589.html

There is also a festival on around Hackney called Hackney Wicked
    http://hackneywickedfestival.co.uk/
    Music, art, performance, etc.

And on Saturday night, after the party in the Three Sisters pub, if you feel like dancing you might want to check out the Shacklewell arms, they have an old school UK Garage night on there until late, its very close to Hackney Downs too, only a fiver in.

Thats not starting until later on though, right?
I thought people were looking for a court to play on during the day.
