I'm going to bump this thread because I really can't believe this hasn't sold.

Have told my brother in law to buy it.

I'm going to take a free bump and say i am relaxed i just don't like people jumping on a thread to show that they know something (how ever little) about bikes.

lovely bike. good luck with the sale.

Cracking bike for the money and the welds look very tidy. For what it's worth I'm a shade under 5ft 11 (32" inseam) and ride a 62cm ti frame. For the doubters a 59cm c-t/57 top tube should fit even 5ft 9 if you can be bothered to set the bike up properly! You'll actually be able to get a more upright 'city' position very easily indeed if one wished.
The obsession with having half a mile of seatpost out appears to mangle people's idea of what fits & what doesn't! -

This really is a lovely bike at a superb price, now at this knock down ticket it must go?!
I lovely bike up for grabs at the beginning of the nice riding season.
It also a temptingly perfect size for me but my next bike money must go elsewhere.
Good luck with the sale Texas.

:(
If I hadn't just bought my 3rd bike a few weeks ago (or at least owned a shed to put them in rather than stacking the things up in the room I rent) then I'd likely have this. Take a free bump. -

Can I come/meet to view the bike? I work in Oxford Street during the week and am based in NW London during the weekends. Im 6ft 2" and would usually go for a 585-590TT; but it may work with the stem and a little setback.
PM me

Really like this, such a good bargain. If I didn't have a wedding to pay for I'd be all over this.

Awesome bike (and I've actually ridden it). Unfortunately a little to big for me. Surely someone needs this.
-
• #42
I'd have been all over this if I hadn't just had a road bike built. Lovely.
-
• #43
down to 750. and that will be it. off to fleebay in a few days
-
• #44
hey Will, forgot we'd discussed this. I'm going to send details to a non-forumite pal that I think might be interested.
nice bike.

I can't believe people pay well over the odds for noodly old steel bikes with barely functioning groupsets, and then this does not sell.
Someone buy this.
-
• #46
^ this
-
• #47
750 for this is nuts -
-
• #48
If i had more money and less bikes I would be all over this like a rash!
-
• #49
But carson
I could buy some piece of shit heritage/vintage bike and then claim I don't see the need for modern groupset, brakes, ahead headset etc.
It will then be taken to drinks to get lots of praise from other fixie skidders. But after a couple of attempts at being ridden on the road the fallacy of the purchase will become clear, and the vintage bike will be kept for Sunday best.
The sensible option is to buy this bike and really enjoy it.
Hence another bump.

Er Legion
You just pm'ed me but I am not selling the bike, it belongs to Texas and he is selling it.

Wow, i had no idea my comment was so offensive.
Obviously people who are seriously interested should know what size bike they need, just seemed a bit off in the OP sizing guidelines to me.
My ill fitting bike is the exact reason why i posted, because I bought it (partly) due to being told (by an experienced seller) that a 57 would be good for me at 6 foot. I dont regret it, but i know what size to buy now.
I guess i just have short legs.
Jeez, Relax Texan.
