Do androgynous people dream of sexless sleep?

He couldn't be that obvious about Independence Day?

What a lovely commute this morning. No one about. It's like the city has exhaled and finally relaxed a little bit. It was properly nice.
Other than that uttter motherfucking cunt of a scooter driver who was on the coming down the wrong side of the road and came within three inchs of hitting me. The motherfucker.

My morning commute was equally quiet and lovely, think it'll be an interesting juxtaposition to the ride home tonight...

Yep, no traffic this morning, calm streets. Was good fun riding in.
Look out at that rain lashing the window now, I don't think the trip home will be as calm.

leaves bike, heads to pub

I don' t normally say this but fuck I am glad I left my bike at home today. Been for a nice 2 hour pub lunch and the thought of cycling home in this shit would not fill me with joy

Time to brave the commute and see how many trees are down
-

Supposed to have calmed down for the rest of the day. Ok to bike but all train services seem to be down as they clear the lines.

Weather forecast said mild compare to yesterday, quite a handful of fallen trees with headwind for me.

Anyone else see the car vs. postbox on Holland Park? Euston underpass was sketchy as fuck. Some shit head at Ealing Common forgot which side of the road to drive on and I grabbed some Christmas Paradox from Brewdog. All in all, last night was 'eventful'

Easy commute in. Almost no traffic. A bit of wind but nothing major. A few trees down in Hampstead

I'm not working today. Might still get outside on the bike. Maybe to hunt down some Google employees for my £350.

First morning in wearing my new gore softshell.
Hardly hit any red lights from Clapham to the City.
The air was crisp and refreshing.
10/10 would commute again.

softshell above 10 degrees ??

• #494
Jacket of any sort above 10 degrees?
-
• #495
Nice to be back on the bike. I'd say that this morning's gentle spin in burnt off about 50% of a (Greggs) mince pie.

I wore a t-shirt.

It was fleecy and made up for having to get out of bed.

In a sad smile kinda way I really enjoyed watching the bell-end in a dark red Altura rain jacket atop a black road bike practising for his bunch sprints (I assume) this morning from Oval to Lambeth North. Undercutting and then swerving between riders before "sprinting" with his knees flayed and head bobbing. Like Mark Cavendish, if Cavendish was short, chubby and slow.

Nah, he's just italicised it so we know he's making a pun on the name of that film with the spaceship in it, you know the one, the one that had a young Michael Barrymore in it.
