  • Not a problem if you're on a polo biek IME... Pedal hard, turn left...

  • Everyone appears to have been bought all the stupidly bright LED lights for Christmas, judging by my poor, burning retinas.

  • Yeah, I would do my best to huff it away from everybody and filter over when safe.

  • What should you do if you're overtaking stationary traffic on a red light and see there are cyclists already taking up space in the ASL ahead of you?

  • Jump the red at 2mph, obvs.

  • Winter sunshine, no wind, barely any bugger else out there because of the cold. Perfect, 9/10 would ride again

  • Don't proceed ahead and wait behind the other road user.

  • #freelancelife Missed out on all the weather this week, no work to do, hardly any biek apart from Weds 9am Oldies track sesh. Which was awesome. I rode a lap or two with Ned Boulting and told him the last time I saw him and said 'Hi!' (last week in Brockley) I was embarrassed now cos thought I knew him but actually I don't, he's off of the telly. /csb

@dubtap that photo was frickin AMAZE wtf?!? #wouldrepifIcould

  • The problem is sometimes you end up side-by-side with the last car you get to, and there isn't enough space to move back into something approaching primary because vehicles are too close nose-to-tail.

  • Had a nice ride home planets aligned or something as apart from the unavoidable handful of buses not a single HGV, stopped to give way to a couple of half way out drivers to get that confused look of "wait wtf another road user has given way better pinch myself to check I'm not dreaming, it must be a trick I will wait 30sec, what does that hand signal mean it's like he is waving me to go" which then suddenly turns into a panic attack of "damn traffic is piled up behind him I better go"

  • If you can't see a gap at least a few car lengths ahead in this situation, you shouldn't be proceeding with your overtake and you should be waiting behind. IMO.

  • Totally agree

  • Eyes contact, just stay on the outside.

  • Not ideal, but bust to the front and trackstand like a boss. Then you'll be first off and won't get in anyone's way.

  • About to face this wind. Hope it's blowing me the right way...

  • blue fixed conversion + vape stick

  • Wind was a minimal issue but knee felt like rusty hinge.

    6/10

  • it's going to chuck it down later.

  • 1/10

  • Do not want. I've got absolutely no waterproofing except my gloves.

  • wfh again: 10/10

  • Get to try the race cape and no rain tights combo for the first time, so I'm quite looking forward to it....

    Apart from the headwind

And the fact that I will inevitably be too hot

  • Got angry with a van driver. Regretted my parting verbal shot. Must stay calmer next time. Wind seemed to come from all the angles. 3/10

  • Nice ride in, legs felt a bit tight after yesterdays club run. Issue with left cleat on checking found it to be very loose and pointing off center, fixed. 8/10

  • He said he noticed I hadn't been on the bike much recently. Rude
I was on my 2014 mashup playlist. Already nostalgic.
