Sometimes a low speed, bloody careful filter on the left makes more sense. Sometimes it doesn't, and I'll filter on the right.
I use my head (don't we all?)

Main road, too much traffic, not late enough to be busting reds.

Train this morning instead of bike (going out straight from work) and fuck me, what a depressing way to travel! Everyone looked like they were going to throw themselves under the train at the station this morning.

I've been getting a lot of trains lately and I've been really enjoying it, but fuck me if I haven't put on about 10kg since I started.

I would say I'm more desperately in need of attention than a toddler.
Quite.

I caught the bus - sat upstairs - at the front - cos I'm still a schoolboy at heart. Had a birds eye view of accident aftermath - motorcyclist in the back of an Addison Lee taxi van on Holloway Road. Judging by the damage I'd say he hit the back of the cab at highish speed - exited the cockpit over the bars and went helmet/head first through the rear window of the cab. Chaos. Should have cycled. Always should have cycled.

Yesterday I saw the original nodder.
He was like a pigeon. Nod, nod, nod. When I came up behind him to overtake he clocked me and panicked so he put the hammer down and started HYPERNODDING to get away from me. I had to stay behind to enjoy his head action.

Was this today? I saw a very destroyed motorbike on Holloway Road yesterday morning by Cycle Surgery. Car involved looked very much like a typical Addison Lee people carrier thing.

I feel there hasn't been any clothing talk recently.
Shorts, base layer, s/s summer jersey, and overshoes are perfect.

Been there. We took Rt 17 instead as the interstate was so boring and filled with big trucks doing 20 over the speed limit.
Still not many bikes or walkers though.

For the tube I would recommend a jacket with jagged rusty spikes sticking out at all angles and possibly some razor blades sewn in at strategic points.
