Fuck - were all of the other bridges closed too?
Walking the bike over was a small price to pay for the very quiet roads either side; my commute (SW15 to SE1) has been lovely whilst the bridge has been shut.
It'll be back to full on shitdom once everyone falls back into their usual commuting routine.

I think I'm going to stick with Wandsworth Bridge - the extra distance and the gyratory is a small price to pay for avoiding the fuckery that is the Lower Richmond Road and New King's Road.

GWS buddy,

And now that I've discovered that the blue highway cutting the corner off the gyratory is just as fast, and infinitely less shit, it's almost a no-brainer.

Blue highways are riddled with cat 6ers who will do anything to be in top 500 of strava segment .. Wandsworth bridge is alright if you use the bike lane on footpath .. Wandsworth bridge road is bit of a gamble but there is always Townmead road

Chap on a Scooter had parked himself squarely in the bike lane this morning, before the ASL at the lights governing Kennington Road/Camberwell road.
I asked him to move so that I could go into the ASL, his response was "what, so you can get in my way?"
Yes, you fat cunt, I want you to move out of my way, that's why I'm asking you.

Take photo, report to roadsafe.

you're supposed to stop at the stop line if the light isn't green. It's pretty fucking obvious.

woman at lights on croxted road after i've just knocked on the bonnet of her gigantic 4WD precious-snowflake-ferrier and told her to get the fuck off the phone she's had her nose buried in for the past three quarters of a mile:
"i'm surprised you stopped at the lights, you lot never stop at the lights"
she had to roll into the asl to tell me this.
i lol'd

To the lady on the Black and Purple Specialized on Clapham Rd if someone is going faster then yourself it is normally rule of thumb that you let them over take. Rather then riding further out making it impossible for me to pass you, only for you to then run out of steam and swerve back to the left nearly taking yourself out on a parked car.
Also what is the correct etiquette to take when someone has taken a dick move to over take then had to try and force themselves back into line should I yield or keep the pace that I was doing. Keeping the pace would of meant said dick going into the back of a car?

I thought the rule of thumb was that whoever's doing the overtaking must wait for a safe opportunity?
Guess I've been doing it wrong. No wonder motorists get so angry with me straying out of the gutter and holding them up.
Around 7.
