I'd been living in hospital accomodation this week, partially through lazyness (its free and 500m from the front door), and partially due to just not having the time (early start, late finish), so essentially laziness.
To make up for it I took the 70mile option home, which included a castle.
Excluding the A-road I flirted with briefly, I had the lanes to myself, it was sunny, and apart from an asshole in Cotgrave, everyone seemed in a remarkably good mood.
Tmw morning, gonna take the shortest route back, and have to be there by 7:15. Balls. Oh and its been so foggy in the morning, that tmw should be amusing. On my run yesterday morning I could barely see 10m in front. -

Foggy, raining and my legs were not happy*. Still made it on time, only for consultant to be late... Still waiting.
- I loved it!

Well boss ride in - as I came down off the bridge there were dudes handing out big bottles of cold Nesquik to cyclists, which I snagged like a smug marathon runner, and wheeled down the Delancey death roll chuckling.
I even had a chance to stop and have a good laugh at the huge line of cunts waiting to get into the Friends mock-up cafe they've decided to install by my office.

Where's this cafe? A "friend" of mine wants to know.
-
• #2262
Not in London? Awwww...
-
• #2263
Overheard one of the staff saying that the line was a 2 hour wait. Does your friend like 90's shitcoms that much?
-
• #2264
Two hours! Fuck that.

First 30 mile commute since June and I feel great but unfit as a fart!

• #2266
30 mile each way?
-
• #2267
15miles both way!
Well 22 miles with a lap of Richmond park -

First day back at work after 2 weeks off. Felt fast for some reason.
Also I saw "the laugher" again. Does anyone know this guy? I've only ever seen him steaming dangerously through busy junctions through reds, up the wrong lane etc. The thing is he has a kind of built in warning siren where he laughs, very loudly in a high pitched voice. Like the "HA-ha" that Nelson off Simpsons does but even higher and repeatedly, like a siren.
I think he might be mentally ill.

Everyone on the road, including cyclists, was a massive cunt today...

Tailwind... Always...

So you were not working at home today? One less car, one more cunt.

Northbound over london bridge was chaos this morning. Motorbikes and cyclists trying to squeeze through metre wide gaps between busses and tipper trucks. Left Turning vehicles taking the right hand lane to the end and cutting left across two lanes of traffic at the end. I almost got off and walked.

Got bus in this morning as bike is being fixed by Cycle PS. I'm walking home tonight.

That would be rep whoring if rep existed.
On the subject of commutes, who's the girl in Kingston with the nice track bike, front brake only, singlespeed? I hope you know what you are doing.
This is probably sexist... I probably don't care as much about other men making stupid choices! Or more to the point, I probably don't stare quite as much at men on bikes... -

Apparently you can get your cuntenna desensitised - it's a relatively straightforward surgical procedure.
A mate had his done on the NHS - but he had to prove to his GP that it was essential to his quality of life otherwise the fob you off with pills and stuff
