You'd have at least two gunshot wounds?

Shout out to the Addison Lee bike courier who fell asleep pissdrunx in the middle of the road in Trinity Church Square with his Brompton laid out on the road beside him whilst he snored away propped up by his Bagaboo.
I tried and failed to wake him up so called an ambulance and stayed with him directing traffic around him and literally 20 seconds before a paramedic arrived on scene he suddenly woke up, screamed, grabbed his bike and fucked off!

Then saw a bloke in DHB baggies riding a Parlee with the very deepest Enve wheels in New Cross.

Due to aforementioned puncture on my main bike, I am on the second which is fitted with gatorskins. Damn I forget they are so much faster and seem to roll forever. Perhaps I can forgive the constant punctures and bad luck I get with them and fit a pair on the main one. Hmmm.

Ah, well, to be expected. Probably doing his best to keep his fluids up from lunchtime you know with this "hot" spell.

Bare fly tipping going on at the moment.

todays cycling thoughts:
I should sack my job in and retrain to become a cycle paramedic.
-
• #22436
Hmmm... cycling around but seeing other people's blood would make for a novel change.
-
• #22437
You're not as good at kidneypunching as you say then.

• #22438
Cockpunching. The blood pools in the trousers. No visible damage.

This Jag driving cunt drove within inches of me yesterday. He'd obviously seen me as he moved out a bit but hardly a safe distance.
Started a report and noticed I had the date setting wrong on my camera! Otherwise what a lovely sunny sweaty commute...

If you're reporting it to the police I think the advice is to not show the video/pictures until the police have done their thing - you should check but you may need to take the photos down
-
• #22441
Nah I can't report it as the date on my camera was wrong. It's a stipulation that for plod to pursue it, the date has to be correct.
-
• #22442
Sounds like horseshite. (Not you, the fuzz)
What do they do if there's no date?Crop the date?
Report them anyway without video. -

I've always understood that to be more about buses that are trying to pull back into the stream of traffic overtaking them rather than for oncoming traffic.
-

This.
Took the "new" route again though. It's nice and empty (at gym time) and has bends I can zoom around and the road isn't full of sunken pipes so when I have a hangover my brain isn't rattling around my skull.
Fuck you bus drivers! I win!
-
• #22445
You always win by not being a bus driver.

you would 100% be living in a leaning tower and electric scootering all around town.

I was hoping more for playing endless games of pool at the Uptown (17th/Capp) or drinking myself into an early grave at Hotel Utah (4th/Bryant).
*checks thread title*
Commute home involved two salt-of-the-earth-cabbies who tried their best to run me off the road. One overtaking another cabbie on Upper Ground who just didn't care I was there on the other side of the road, the other ignoring the give way road markings a bit further up behind the London Eye. Still alive though.

Coincidently my commute* home last night involved a pit stop at Hotel Utah to enjoy a couple of their shot and a "beer" specials.

Yesterday I had a day off so nipped up the road to drop off a preamp that needs fixing which fitted handily in my ortlieb back pack. Off I went. Had a good chat about bikes with the guy and on the way back the lights were green for a right hand turn, so seeing a line that would work in front of two gormless girls who were chatting crossing the road expecting traffic to grind to a halt for them, I flew in front and said "excuse me!" "you fucking wanker" shouted the girl in the hijab. What happened to the serenity and inner peace of religion I thought...

^^ she wasn’t wrong.
I used to love going to see customers when I worked in SF. Our office was just a block and a half from the Caltrain station at 4th & King and most customers were a walk or a short ride away from station further south. Went to so many companies before they got big (or disappeared completely).
(One of the founders of Hotmail [or HoTMaiL as it still was then] lived in the same apartment block and I remember chatting to him about it. He was keeping his cool as they sold to Microsoft a few months later for $lots).
Sometimes I wonder how different my life would have been if I'd stayed there and not moved back to the UK.
