Yeah. Not much snow on the ground here in Birmingham, but I've sacked off cycling whilst that wind is blowing.
Lost feeling in my fingers, had icicles in my beard and started feeling sick 2miles into my commute home yesterday riding into the wind. That in a combo of clothes that I start over heating in if I wear when it's above 5C

I'm going to try out the zip-tie thing. Shitloads of snow here in Edinburgh. Let's see how this goes.

Shout out to the lone Deliveroo rider who was the only other cyclist I saw in Leeds (other than my colleagues) all day. Must be doing a decent number of drops per hour!

I was joking with the missus that we should order ice cream on Deliveroo for the LOLs but I didn't want any of their riders trying to get down our street, poor bastards. The postie that dropped a package off though seemed to be enjoying a 'proper winter' so maybe they're loving it?

Didn't bother in the end, didn't die. Might try it tomorrow for science

Weirdly quiet ride in and out today. Felt like a ghost town at parts. Quite nice really.

The rider I saw did not appear to be loving it. I had an alright time though, main roads were completely clear and virtually empty.

The 2 hours of commuting over the last 2 days took approximately the same amount of time to get the filth paste of the bike this afternoon.

Just wet now, no snow or ice until my road. Same speed as normal commute.
Shouties with some cunt beeping me for not moving over but other than that pretty chill.

I'm not cleaning anything until this shit goes away.

I'm not riding again till this shit goes away. Hopefully should be gone by Sunday when I have a date with some Kentish Hills.

Proper brain freeze riding into a headwind on the way home tonight. Ride in this morning was fun though: Tailwind blizzard over a mix of ice-rink side roads, clear-ish main roads and crisp fresh snow through a park. We're due another 10cm tomorrow morning though so we'll see how long it stays enjoyable.

I was going to hit the turbo tonight to make up for lack of gym and lack of race. But now I cannae be fooked.

Got bumped into by a taxi slowly drifting into me at some lights, had the most weirdly polite altercation ever and then wished him a good evening as I left. Pretty mellow.
