This morning's commute and other commuting stories

Was having a lovely commute (despite one fall) until a bus driver decided to overtake approaching a red light and in the process spraying me shoulder down with filthy, freezing slush. Banged his window and asked him why he did it. To which he just gave me a blank stare. Then smiled at me as he drove off. Utter bellfelcher.

I think I was almost 30 before I saw snow fall for the first time.

That 'lovely' morning slush is now icing up. Could do with another layer of snow before home time or it'll be a bit sketchy.

Southbound Cs7 behind E&C now an ice rink. Be very fucking careful - main roads if possible.

That ride back east from south was something else! I was directly into that spiky, horizontal blizzard at about 5. I enjoyed it. No tumbles so that’s good... but did anyone else have to spend an hour rinsing their steed in warm water and re-greasing it? Today I found myself wishing I had a garage for the first time in my life! Slopping suds over a bike in -5 wind chill is not my bag!

Bike stands on the north end of Waterloo bridge in between the lanes, opposite cycle surgery. F$%!£%$!%rs!

I've been more and more concerned about this myself, the recent trend of felchmongery is frustratingly shitty; to even walk that home is nearly impossible. I'm sorry that those bellsquelchers targeted you. I hope their reproductive organs shrivel and turn to gangrene.
