Stopped to exchange details with motorcyclist who was sideswiped by a tipper truck who didn't stop at Southwark Bridge. Hopefully the Fly12 got some footage.

Very nice, cycle lanes everywhere so my partner had a 13 mile cycle with me from Hasselt out and around Bokrijk then back. Only one section of road for about 200m and that I'm sure we could have avoided by going around if we wanted.

Switzerland tomorrow so will see how they do things.

Forgot to take the bike out of the car last night. Got kitted up this morning, walked outside in the rain, opened the boot of the car and stood staring at the bike for about 10 minutes considering things. Gave it the big 'nope', shut the boot and walked to the station. Which meant I had all the downsides to riding in (showering with the beautiful people at the gym, sweaty (still painful) balls cocooned in lycra, sitting at work in a creased shirt) with all the downsides of getting the train in (having to sit on a train). Also forgot my pants...

Negative - I had a pair of tactical shorts over lycra bibs and a hoody on. Over a base layer, jersey, and arm warmers. #hotdeviant

only piqued my attention as it was the 4th asl I'd been through on my commute where a motorcyclist has got off their bike and left it parked in the asl and was questioning if there was some weird protest about to happen or something.

Yup. Just sent the footage to the guy. Could have been so much worse. Luckily for him he got bounced out of the way by the front left hand side of the tipper. Truck driver seemed to slow as if to stop then just drove off.

Roadworks at the crossroads by the primary in Dulwich Village, Jesus H Christ. 4 way temporary lights. Just missed my green, cycles through the other three directions with a long pedestrian phase between each one. Must have been there for a good 5 minutes. Traffic was backed up to the Picture Gallery roundabout as I approached, I imagine it would have been back to the South Circular by the time they changed. Nearly got cramp putting my foot down for so long.

Saw that too so I dismounted and walked round it. Not sure what my tyres are like for going over that amount of glass.

Yeah - nasty. Likewise if you see a bloke with a beard on a battered looking grey paddy wagon*.
