wheres the works in Camden, before sainsburys? i went through friday it was all done, just fencing to be removed!

Ah nice! Last time I rode through there (early last week) they were halfway up the hill from Camden towards Holloway Road and had been for a couple of weeks. Traffic's basically been solid from the hill down from RP all the way past Sainsbury's and up the hill to where the temporary traffic lights are/were. If they're gone, that makes my life a bit easier.

The only works I came across were electrical by the left turning on the one way to go regents parks.
yeah they could have removed all the TM too. No reports on TFL twitter feed so hey! I need to go Condor and get a winter hat.

Made up for by the hot girl in transparent leggings waiting at the lights on Tooley st. Unfortunately I was sporting the clear lenses in my glasses and not the tinted ones. Rumbled/10
While perhaps not on the same level as almost running someone over, making someone feel uncomfortable/upset while they're going about their business is not cool. Ditto referring to ogling a woman as some kind of consolation prize.

No I just slept a lot. Probably the last thing you should do but seem to be OK now. Missus was bit taken aback waking up next to bloody pillows.
@Spxtz know if Bojo got done? Seen lots of photos of heroic looking firemen carrying old ladies today.
@Oliver Schick I don't really have earlobes so reduced ear snag risk/maximised aero gains, but yeah — I'm feeling fortunate that it wasn't worse ... what happens when an ear comes off ... sew it back on?

No.

No, sadly not - all the houses to the north of Boris's had no power, and there were no streetlights. Looked like engineers were pumping out the basements too, bad times

Any tips for cycling through, or avoiding Lewisham's new layout by the station? We're about to move to Marischal Road, near the Lidl.
-
• #15863
Yes, don't move to Lewisham.

OK good to hear all OK :)
Just my first aid training kicking in!

She may not have known the leggings were transparent. You'd be surprised how much women's clothing is semi-transparent, so her showing a lot of leg may not have been intentional.

At least leave it till they fix the sink hole in Lee High Road. Absolute clusterfuck at the moment.

Hasn't started well, ran over a dogshit in the park, was sure I could smell it so stopped to clean my tyres before bringing stinky Brompton onto the train. Nothing on the tyres but the stop and check was enough for me to miss the fast train :'(

Make sure you give Rox Burger a try when you're in!
I cut down Elmira Street and then use the 'is it a cycle path or isn't it?!' route through Cornmill Gardens onto a crap bit of conflict-generating infrastructure down Molesworth St, but I'm heading down to Catford. You would have to cut back up the highstreet proper with all the buses or use Limes Grove / Clarendon Rise, but you'll be basically adding 3 side onto the square with all of that. -

In other news, did Embankment east/west CS for the first time in a while yesterday, they've softened out the brutal speed bumps! Life is now much better. No sick air / 10.

Loving the juices at Rox!
-
• #15873
That seems good - only adds 400 metres or so, and less traffic lights - perhaps faster!
-
• #15874
All depends on your luck with that initial right turn - its hard to do against traffic.

copy cat
Yeah, my alternative is through Regent's Park and up the hill out of Camden, and that's screwed by waterworks as well.
