  • No, this guy was dressed in normal clothes.

  • Ah never mind, thought it might've been my housemate :)

  • Many cock wombles out on the CS7 last night, why can't people shoulder check before moving out right, although the latest crazy seems to be shoulder check while moving out.

Loved the minor altercation between a cyclist and moped on Brixton Hill, cyclist screaming at the moped driver who kept say can't hear you. Cyclist main grape was that the moped had undertaking him. The same cyclist who was under taking other road users and who when over take on the right and immediately chop back across to the left.

Also liked the comment thrown at me by a guy on a squeaky MTB who jumped most lights from Kennington to Brixton hill who on whizzing past me in his granny ring, shouted not so fast now are you and then gave me the finger. Laughed and then over took him.

    8/10

  • I was at the moped/bicycle thing too. Both appeared to be adults in the physical sense. Their collective ability to string a sentence together, however...

  • I think this may have been a different incident as it was on Brixton Hill, while we waited at the lights near Brixton HMP.

  • Ah soz, misread. Maybe they ran into each other again.

  • Somebody on a bicycle using just one leg, the other one wasn't in a cast but they must have had some problems...well fair play.

Then somebody turning left into a parking area not checking for a cyclist...over a brandnew massive cycle lane marked green and with cycle poles like...everywhere. Ow FFS. Nobody got hit but check you blindspots FFS!

  • I told a bloke he had a plastic bag wrapped up in his cassette today and he didn't even acknowledge me.

  • possibly still quite drunk this morning, failed multiple times to hold onto something at the lights and had to emergency clip out while falling sideways...

  • Cycled to work at 11:30 this morning rather than my usual 7:45. Think i encountered only 3 other people cycling and far fewer cars on my route from Sydenham to Aldgate. Much more pleasant, especially with the sun shining. Tower Bridge was as busy as ever though.

  • This is what I deal with - I don't work regular hours - so when I do have to cycle at rush hour I'm like whaaaaaaaat who are all these people???

  • GREEEEEEEN WAAAAAAVE! GREEEEEEEN WAAAAAAVE! GREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVE!

    SE1 to SW10.

  • If I was a traffic signal and I saw a green topiary elephant coming along the road, I'd go green, too. :)

  • ^^Yesterday evening, this. This morning, not this.

  • Remembered I had a free voucher for a Sausage McMuffin so stopped for breakfast on the way in. Must not make a habit of that, but it was lovely.

  • Dear CS7 have we moved to driving/cycling on the right, seem to spend more time having to look over my left shoulder for under takers (death jokes...) then my right for over takers.

  • Haha! Budget resistance training.

  • this. what is your approach when this happens? the temptation to say something hasn't resulted in anything yet, but I'm pretty patient

  • Normally bite my tongue, although sometimes ive been known to let a huge sigh followed by a for Fucks sake.

  • Tut. Tut loudly. If that doesn't work then add a shake of the head to the loud tut.

  • Gave a "put your phone away" to a chap driving down Walworth Road only to be rewarded with him pulling over, waiting for me, trying to shout something out of his wound down window while I cycled past laughing and giving him the finger, then him overtaking and doing a half assed swerve nearly in front of me.

I need a camera. Who wants to buy me a gopro?

  • Last night hail stones can do one, as can Addison Lee.

Only 5 more commutes for this year left.

  • Had some rapscallion throw a load of mud at me earlier next to blackfriars, would have been much angrier if I hadn't been so relieved it wasn't sh*t.

  • Saw a guy on a Brompton wearing one of those Casco track pisspots with the visor. Made me chortle.
