that reminds me there was some kind of fuel spill on the north west corner of E&C just after the lights this morning, nearly lost my front wheel going in a straight line. scary shit given the location.

Yeah nearly killed the guy that gave it to me this morning at Kennington as he stepped out onto the road without looking for any form of incoming traffic. His partner did a life saver grab and dragged him out of the road.

Yes, he tried to give me one, then proceeded to chat to the motorcyclist behind me about the bitter irony of cyclists who pay nothing to use the road being given a questionnaire WITH FREE POSTAGE whilst the motorcyclist WHO PAID FOR THE ROADS had no questionnaire.

Let along a questionnaire with free (but paid for by the motorcyclist really) postage.

I pay for the upkeep of the royals so he can fuck off with his whinging until they're gone.

I got handed one, but after reading the Q's, it seems to be a survey about the survey, I can't seem to see how it'll benefit us cyclists. Ergo; it's getting binned.

I got handed the survey last week at the Tower Bridge / Grange Rd junction. Filled it in and it is now languishing, slightly crumpled, on my desk

From Brick Lane I typically go behind finsbury square, through the barbican, past Farringdon market and then out before Holborn to Chancery Lane. Not too much traffic/too many peds during the day at least and I get to see the architectural equivalent of a HHSB, i.e., the Barbican. Working off Bond st., I got my daily dosage of reasons to hate humanity cruising from there to Oxford street.

Back on the bike today. Think next week I will go to 3 days cycling in, 2 days walking and see how my strength builds up.
