The situation is that I'm now two bags away from clearing my backlog.
Once it's clear, I don't want to be in the position of having lists, or owing people anything again.I'll then be making products as and when I can, which I will then post for sale.
If you're lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time, you'll get one,If not you'll have to wait until next time.Life is too short, and too unpredictable to be having a list full of people waiting for things that I owe them.

Will you be making messenger/backpacks again?
-
• #1254
I'll be making a couple more messenger bags after I clear the backlog....Then I really want to get onto the backpack prototype.
-
• #1255
Oh man ok, yep, totally understand. Thanks for the heads up. Is the price still going to be the same?
I'll be F5ing.

The 'Red' messenger will be £35O
Jaryder has the latest version...so if anyone wants to see one, drag him to the ground as he rides past. -

Scott I'm still well up for the backpack so let me know when you start prototyping! Your bike and the bags all look awesome by the way, nice work! :-)

Continuing on from my saddlebags with a bikepacking theme...anyone with an interest in bicycle touring should definitely read the new online magazine BUNYAN VELO!

It looks like I have one leftover saddlebag from this 1st batch, so if anyone wants it, it's £95, which includes the Ortlieb drybag.

• #1264
Scott, did you get my PM with the cheeky ask?? :-)
-
• #1265
I'll check it in a bit.
@those of you that are about to receive your saddlebags....
Regarding fitting...
The way I prefer to fit the holster is by threading the saddle attachment buckles through the saddle rails and clip to the side wing half of the buckle with the straps loose...then wrap the seatpost collar nice and tight and velcro in place....then pack the drybag when it's not in the holster, and roll and clip the end...then push it into the holster and pull the end strap over the end of the drybag and pull it nice and tight so it pulls the drybag down into the nose of the holster.
Then i pull the side straps as tight as i can get them so it pulls the holster right up against the saddle.
Then i pull the end strap as tight as It can go and just recheck the side straps again and pull tighter if possible.
The tighter everything is, the less it'll move.I also try and make sure the 'tail' of the holster isn't caught on the rolled end of the drybag and just manipulate it a bit if necessary...partly just because it looks neater. :]
Once you use it a few times the adjustment becomes second nature really.
Tight is right! :]

I hope that makes more sense once you have the saddlebags in your hands? :]

A big, BIG, THANK YOU, Scott. The new Saddlebag is awesome. I love my older model and all, but this is practically so much better. Simple, well made, well thought out, looks the nuts... Worth the wait? course fuckin of course. Look forward to taking it away for a few days.

• #1268
Glad it made it there safe and sound! :]
Also, i forgot to mention...there is a small amount of adjustment on the position of both the saddle rail attachment, and the seatpost collar...to allow for slight variations in saddle/seatpost combos and positions.

so let me get this right - from now on, you won't be taking orders as such and will post whatever you have made here for sale? And that goes for everything?? Still, I would very much appreciate it if you say yes to my cheeky ask...
And I am very happy for you that you are back on track, and hope you all the very best with your future products. Really looking forward to the backpack and whatever excellent products you come up with in the future. Particularly with the backpack, I love my MW backpack, but I will most certainly love my yet to have BRP backpack!!!

Incase anybody wonders why their saddlebag is slightly different to B'Jammin's....he has different buckles and a different drybag...so worry not. :]
Yeah, I got that much! But are we talking 6 months, 1 year or 2 years or more? What's the situation with deposits?
