My apologies.
Things are a little different if you've paid.
It's lovely here.
Come on Scott, pull your digit out...

Tanya, and everybody else that has paid for things, and is waiting has every right to be pissed off.
I'm actually at a point right now where I'm considering quitting as soon as the backlog is cleared...because I'm not doing very well mentally at the moment.I really hadn't expected the last year to go so badly and to be in such a bad frame of mind.
I'm currently trying to make backlogged bags, and finish the new saddlebag design, and find a way to earn money to cover my ever growing debts, and I'm not coping very well with it all.I should have pictures of the new saddlebag, which will be the one Tanya and the others who have paid will be getting.
I'll also still be trying to do the bags that are owing as soon as I can.Beyond that I'm really not sure what's going to happen.

On dear Scott, I am really sorry to hear this. Whatever you are facing, I do hope you get better soon. It would be a real shame if you quit, you make great bags and I absolutely love my little incomplete collection of your BRP stuff. Let us know if there is anything we can do the help, I am sure a lot of us would be more than willing to give you supports in whatever we could. :-)

Shit dude, sorry to hear you are feeling this way. Keep on, keeping on Scott! Would be a sad day if you had to give up on BRP, but its only bags, mental well-being is always priority. I'm sure everyone waiting would rather know they will get something eventually, rather than not at all. doubt you will ever stop creating quality gear, just maybe remove a bit of pressure and do what you got to, to level out your finances. Pressure is okay, stress is a c@#t.
Glad you have a nice custom project to keep you buzzing.
Anyhow, looking forward to my saddlebag and all.
-
• #1158
Yeah totally, of course everyone would rather you're ok.
Don't let BRP get on top of you, I'm sure there's a way to work it without the pressure.
I think as long as we're kept in the loop, we'll be more understanding.
I'm still really keen to see what you've come up with. You're one talented man, it'd be a shame if you quit.
Still looking forward to my saddlebag. :) -

I'm struggling quite a bit lately to keep my head above water...not just financially, but mentally too. There are days when I feel so low that I just can't even sew a stitch, let alone design whole new products.
I've spent a lot of time lately wondering whether I should just stop what I do, for good.
But then eventually I manage to drag myself out of myself long enough to realise why I do it.
I may not always handle things very well from a business point of view...but I'm passionate about what I make, and that is why I still try.If you have a spare ten minutes or so, please watch the two videos below. This is the kind of thing that reminds me why it's important to keep going, and keep making things by hand. Passion and pride....two things the world needs more of.

It sounds like you need some advice on how to run your operation. Once you have that stabilised, everything else will seem like a walk in the park.

Beautiful videos.
Despite being the owner of exactly no BRP produce, I fully appreciate the craft that goes into the design and production of something so well made and universally acclaimed. Keep up the good work and the chin. You have a whole community behind you here. Use us if you can.

Scott, don't stop, seriously. You're so talented at what you do and the fan base you have for this stuff is amazing. Just look at how many people signed up for something you were selling and we didn't even know what it was!
And people are tolerant of your time frames and understanding of the delay with you moving out of the city.
Thing is, no matter how shit life/emotions are, we've all got to still work. It's fucking hard sometimes but it has to be done. I say this not just because I've been waiting a year for my bag, but because I don't want people to lose faith in your products and I fear this may have happened a bit.
More importantly I hope you are able to get the help that's out there for this. It's there and can help.
With some help, BRP could be an incredible business. I really hope you make this work.
I also hope I get my bag soon. I'll be honest and say I'm not too happy about the situation, but I remain hopeful.
You can do it Scott. -

Just wanted to say I LOVE YOU AND YOUR STUFF SCOTT!!!
-
• #1169
Hey Scott, if you need help with admin or whatever I could spare few hours a week in the afternoon/evenings. BRP is too good to be left behind man, I can't wait to get some stuff done whenever you ready. Worth waiting dude.

Scott don't stop, I wish you could know how many times I was asked what is my pouch (Violet) and there can they get one, couriers, commuters, loads of people asking!
We need you Scott! -
• #1171
Echo the above. Use my Grobags pouch every day. Have been super excited about the saddle bag after seeing a friend with a previous version. Am no less excited after the wait. I know how difficult it can be when you are every aspect of what you do, but hope you continue to churn out the good stuff.

i can't seem to marry the idea that someone is struggling to keep there head above water yet is still able to build that amazing machine.
Please correct me if im wrong but It seems your having the same issues as you did with Archies: Not having the finances to buy materials. Do you think that getting some sort of investment either via the forum or through a third party such as kickstarter will help?

I think there's a slight difference in having someone else to do the bike.

I don't want to speak for Scott and I do hope he'll post to let us know what's going on with the stuff we've paid for, but it seems that this isn't the problem, according to what he's said above...

Scott, I've PM'd you.
I'm struggling to see why you felt the need to comment Paul.
How's Dubai?
You're right - Rome wasn't built in a day. But this isn't Rome. It's a bag. That I paid for over a year ago and would quite like to receive and use.
Is that so unreasonable?
