^word up, I can't escape the headwind at the moment. riding upto lmnh on sat with xander we rode past barbican one way into a head wind, turned around to come back about 30 minutes later and hit the headwind again going in the exact opposite direction. utter madness.
sidewind both times? that's basically as annoying as a headwind

nope full on headwind both ways.
It was annoying but nowhere near as bad as this road http://goo.gl/maps/pXaP when the winds blowing. earlier this year I nearly came to a full halt riding along here a few months back, there were a couple battling along the pavement into the wind as well and I was barely going faster than they were as I went past.

Try the coastal headwinds, aint no big shiny building, diffusing the situation! :P
What time is the ride planning to get in/do in Brighton?

I hope it's not as windy on the day as it has been these last couple of days.
This. Wind is my greatest enemy.

We'll be riding in a group with a bit of luck.
Looks like a bit of a headwind on Sunday but there should really be no reason for anybody to worry.

Next time I can get access to a proper workshop I'm blatantly making a pulsejet to fit to a bike.
-
• #171
pulsejet + fixed + brakeless + no foot retention
I dare you
-
• #172
not to be used in conjunction
-
• #173
problem?
-
• #174
I did it 72GI when I went down a few weeks ago and that was fine. But, that was without the howling galeĀ© (copyright - my Mum 1983 From the phrase: Shut that doors there's a howling galeĀ© blowing through here) that seems to be sticking around at the moment.
Might make it a bit more like hard work. -

OK, so I love both kinds of hills. Guilty.
