No, no this is designed for London, can't you read? Outside of London it's just like any other bike, you know, only as quick as the person riding it.
Damn these designers, not considering that smaller, less profitable market outside of London, then having the audacity to post on predominantly London-centric forum about their products. HOW DARE THEY?

Any ideas of what the test could be? route, target time? a decent rider to pilot it?

I see that French climbing fella is in the news again. Let's offer him a real challenge, rather than climbing up skyscrapers in not much more than a pair of lycra leggings (at his age - wtf?) and some climbing shoes), we'll get him to ride it down the Shard as soon as it is done.
We'll see how fast it is then, and he'll get a boost with a jaded public who think of him as a one trick pony. Win, win.

Oh and Simon, I'm trying to get an invoice from you guys to give to my insurance company but it seems the computer says no? I just want to spank some money with you but it's all looking too hard at the moment.
I am disappoint.

I will ride the death TT on it.

• #41
wouldn't the death TT just involve near dieing on the decent then going slow as shit up Swains?
Just let Reen or 6pt ride it and it will look fast. -
• #42
Does it have the SRAM double-tap shifters? I was considering a build like this for commuting.

I know.
You can run them with a SRAM Rival/Force/Red groupset.

as Gav says, the death TT is already establised, so there is probably an understanding of what is a good time. and as it happens at north drinks there would be people around to film it. maybe stick a helmet cam on the rider and get someone to film it from off te bike

Have a chat to overdrive on here and see if he'll do/get someone to do an alleycat on one (at a guess, prize sponsorship for one of the LCEF fundraisers is likely to be a good route to securing cooperation here). Couple of Flip cameras on the bike and you should be able to get a nice impression of speed and nippyness.

give it to a cyclist. (if you can find one on here amongst the fashionistas and charlatans)

And reckless, drunken, law breaking which, I believe, is a major selling point in the hybrid market.
but back on topic, give the bike to chainbreaker. when he inevitably falls off we can see how robust it is.
