  • 7.2kg.

  • heavier than you then?

  • ho ho ho

  • I can't understand why you would ride one on the street.
I rode mine into work today to weigh it, and use works torque wrench. It was horrible... so horrible in fact that i'm considering nicking the work car to drive it the 2ish miles back home at the end of the day. The toe overlap takes rediculous to a whole new level.
    compared to what though?

  • heavier than you then?

me + bike = 68kg. (with work boots on)

you'll be less than me soon, at the rate you're going!

  • Nice. I'll see what mine weighs with carbon risers on it ;-)

  • compared to what though?

Full carbon road bike, Alloy road bike, alloy track bike, steel track bike, stupid steel lo-pro.

  • Hoops, im a little confused... Youre saying your track bike is less comfortable that Full carbon road bike, Alloy road bike, alloy track bike, steel track bike, stupid steel lo-pro.

Are you being specific about your BMC?

(not being a cheaky git, its a real question)

i would need to be spatchcocked (?) to weigh 68kg...

  • what BMC? What the hell are you talking about?

I'm saying that riding a planet X track frame on the road for anything other than TT's is just stupid. and uncomfortable as hell.

But each to their own.... I hope it doesn't snap in two on the first good size pothole you encounter.

Likewise for you until they resurface HH.

  • zing!

saftey specs are a good accesory at the moment... it's like riding behind a grit spreader!

  • My mistake.

  • There was one floating about with a godawful disc brake fork on it somewhere in Scotland as the rider could no longer handle the standard fork brakless on the road. The Stealth TT fork apparently helps it become more manageable on the road due to having significantly more rake and you can fit a brake....if you wish.

Until yesterday I used an old heavy chromed Russian track frame with Miche Pistard wheels as an everyday bike.
I grabbed brakeless carbon yesterday and don't want anything else. It was a bliss. And comfy as hell.

So let me enjoy my middle life crisis and advice on the lights, please!

What do you use on your aero bladed seatposts and frames? Be is a track bike, TT, triathlon etc.

  • I'm thinking of modifying the seatpost clamp bolt so I can attach my light clip to it. Slowly realising I'm going to go through several light mounts before I get this right.

Do any of the joggers arm lights which use velcro straps come in multiple led form?

fair enough.... sorry for being a bikenazi.

why not just put a knog on the driveside seatstay.

  • plus

    and / or

  • Too much time spent with RPM took its toll.

Yep, Knog should fit just above the chain.

  • i just put one on mine, and it fits right at the top of the seatstay.

  • This for now:

This FibreFlare is the long one, but the sort one would do even better job.

  • I extpected it to be very dull, but it's actually quite bright.

Wiggle has a discounted bundle if someone wants a couple of them:

  • Why do you need lights on a track bike?

It's not just track bikes with aero posts. Back in your box.

  • Track bike on a road...
