Afternoon all

Just moved up here a month ago but not really spent much time in the centre yet. Next couple or weeks I'll be in and around quite a lot though - wondering if any areas in particular not to lock up or, more usefully, any tips for places that seem safe?

I know it's all a gamble and bikes get nicked everywhere but still, no harm in trying to lower the odds.

I've been living and riding here for two years (mostly commuting), but only just getting into some kind of 'scene'. I'm a long-time lurker and this is my first post.
I don't have a good photo of it, but I ride a Specialized Globe Roll 2, that was green when new, but now it's grey, with silver parts, white saddle/tape/wheels, and what some riders on Mass the other day referred to as 'Knight Rider Lights'. The monochrome theme continues into what I like to wear on the bike, so if you see me, please try not to laugh.
Also, give me a shout (01FIX1 fb?) if you're stuck in M20 and need a repair.

I'm Liam. Been on the forums a few times for info etc but still newish to fixed gear. Been riding a few months.
I live near Ardwick/ Levensume area. In town a lot and Oxford road on my bike. Bit of a beater but it's black frame with create forks wraped in white vinyl wrap with random drawing on it. Drop bars wraped in black wraps. Say hi if you see me. It's so rare to find other riders!

there's plenty of us about, come down Pub/Zoo around 6pm on a Wednesday.

I'm Adam and have been a lurker/very occasional poster for a coupla years on here now.

Bought a singlespeed Raleigh Scirocco from someone on here a while back and mainly use it getting between Chorlton/Manchester and work (uni).

Picked up an old Raleigh frame from eBay recently with the intention of building a fixed-gear bike from that, so I imagine I'll be scouring the boards looking for advice on whatever it is I'm failing at doing on that particular day.
