Also ask ‘em if they have any spare mech hangers pls :)

A as n’y one bought any bike packing stuff? Specifically barbags and saddle bags? The selection is limited but looks good...
-
• #8854
I considered that but can't seem to find them available and not on the Evans website as far as I can tell.
-
• #8855
The impression I get from Evans is they’re on a bit on the slide at the moment. The website is a bit abandoned and stock is often not listed - the shop floor gets priority. I expect there is a part number for your fork.
This isn’t intended as a dis but ... expect several misinformed and/or inexperienced staff before finding one who was helpful and knowledgeable. It’s classic big-shop stuff really. Try and talk to some humans, on the phone or in person.

http://www.carbonda.com/accessory/fork-cx/90.html
Have been running one for close to a year now, no complaints yet. -
• #8858
If you don’t mind me asking, how’d you get hold of yours? Just emailed them through the site?
-
• #8859
I bought my bike from Carbonda and you can just email them - can get it painted by them too.
-
• #8860
Yeah, just sent them an email. Communication was easy & quick, think inquiry-ordering was 2 days, mainly due to me not checking my inbox.

I’d also be in

Anyone spotted a reasonably priced alternative to Paul thumbie DT lever adapters?
-
• #8863
So, ordered some wheels that were sent on 19th December and arrived in the UK on 25th. Since then absolutely nothing. Think I'll give it another 3 weeks and then ask for a refund as item not received
-
• #8864
Presumably they're fully tracked so you can see at which point they've got stuck?
-
• #8865
It is all tracked, arrived on 25th and has sat there pre-customs for 6 weeks (anyone would think there are other bigger things in play).
The kicker will doubtless be getting rinsed with charges
-
• #8866
If you've not already tried I can recommend calling and hassling the delivery company until they update you / get things moving. It's a pain but persistent badgering of them does normally yield results in my experience.
-
• #8867
Yes, need to get on it - first step will be finding out who the courier is 😀
-
• #8868
I have a couple of (low value, unimportant) Ali Express things stuck just after they arrived in the UK in December.
I've heard there was a massive backlog before Christmas and things work on a first-in last-out basis, so they may turn up months from now.

Not quite as cheap as you might like but SJS have something: https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/gear-spares/jtek-special-thumb-shifter-brackets-for-222-mm-bars-black/

Oh.
Have looked and on 20th February can register as not delivered. Think I might need to keep that in mind.
-
• #8872
Ah no that's great, thanks

• #8873
Could anyone share their experiences of this type of computer mount?
-
• #8874
It all depends on the angle of your stem which for an untukt positions such a mine, it looks a little silly. Prefer my wahoo to be nice and flat with the road.

I've been emailing with them about the fork, and they quoted me $85 for the fork with $60 shipping. £105 at today's rates.
A replacement fork from Pinnacle?
The og fork fits that spec (assuming your Arkose is the latest model).
