Oh and I got my cargo bibs and they are one the small side compared to other bibs I got from China, would recommend going a size up.

Just asked in cannondale thread but maybe better here..
Want a tapered 1"1/8 to 1"1/4 disc fork.
15mm thru axle.
Post mount.
Could use a flat mount fork as I have flat mount calipers I bought to future proof my etap groupset when I eventually change frame.Any particular brands for a good fork that doesn't cost a bomb?
-
• #7932
It’s the 1 1/4” but that will be your downfall. A large portion of forks are 1 1/2”

Yeah totally. When I bought the caad10 I failed to take this into account.
Loads of options for a 1.5 taper but cannondale and their need to use non-standard everything. Ass holes.I've googled about a bit and what I need certainly exists but I'd guess there's one or two particular Chinese brands that do reliable forks?

any advice for a aero roadbar?
-
• #7935
3T, Zipp, Pro. Whatever you save by going to no-brand Chinese you're going to want to spend on dental insurance, so it seems a bit zero-sum 🙂

My advice would be dont go carbon and especially dont go chinese carbon. See dental insurance advice^
I cracked genuine specialized carbon bars after a failed-to-unclip-in-time accident. Fell over from a stand still and the bars broke from the impact. I was left a couple hundred quid out of pocket. Replaced then with alloy ritchey bars and tried not to worry about them weighing 99 grams more.

I was looking for alloy, sorry.
I'm nearly 100kg so no way i am using carbon anywhere!Might just settle for some thomson from merlin cycles for 80e quid

Isn't width more important than aero tops? Just go slightly narrower than you normally do.
-
• #7939
Just for the looks mate.
I dont care about the aero benefit.
There is way too much wind resistance in my upper body ;) -

I’ve been using some Deda superzero. They’re sort of aero. Round at the front, teardrop shape if you will.
They’re nice though, stiff, holes underneath for cables, the big superzero logo on top comes off with nail polish remover. -

Bought some chinese crabon rims. No branding, U-profile, listing said
27.5” Carbon Mtb Rims.
32 hole
Presta valve hole
500gramm weight per rim!!!!
35mm inner rim width
40mm outer rim widthThere is a transfer in the rimwell bearing a barcode and "59M3268614".

Bleh, random request. Looking for some 30mm deep carbon clincher rims in 12h and 16h. Do these even exist? At a push I could go for undrilled and set up a jig at work to drill them.
-
• #7947
Are you going to upgrade the ****** wheels?
-
• #7948
Do these even exist?
Lightbicycle do custom drilling, but you'd have to choose between 25mm and 35mm deep
-
• #7949
16h seems easy to find. You could do 12h with a 36h rim and 24 black stickers . But probably not what you are after :)

Yeah LB drilled my rims to match the strange Ultegra 18/24 hubs I found on Ebay
