Probably just about, but certainly on the bike it sounds pretty weak. The spring for the hammer (Which is just plastic) doesn't seem to be strong enough to get enough of a hit on the bell to make it worthwhile. Even when I flick it as far back as it will go, it still isn't loud enough. The Rockbros that @platypus mentioned looks good, is only £10 on Amazon and with being a metal hammer and bell, should certainly be loud enough.

I actually took the Knog bell off my bike because I was better off shouting than hoping people on canal paths would hear me.

Some nutter converting chinese hooked rims to hookless

About 1mm wider rims, probably zero noticable benefit in ride. Doesnt seem safe at all. Why?

Replaceable axle, track thread on one side and then remove the freehub to reduce down to track spacing. Zipp used to do it (still may)

Bought a Rockbros bell from this seller. Came in 5 days. It’s a Chinese seller but have uk stock apparently.

Really like the mounting system for the bell. It’s bloody loud as well.
