No, I didn't in the end....very tempting but seemed a bit TOO cheap and couldn't really afford to gamble. Would still like to hear from anyone who has though.

I have one of these and the clamp is a pain in the arse to set if you don't have a cutout saddle you can feed the allen through. Post itself is fine though.

Been looking at buying a couple of jerseys from aliexpress. A few jerseys use pictures ripped straight from the La Passione webstore, such as this: https://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/cycling-jersey-2018-pro-team-Summer-mtb-bycicle-cycling-jersey-men-2018-maillot-ciclismo-jersey-ciclismo/3521027_32861410474.html?spm=2114.12010615.8148356.15.3ccd42b7z3HOxb
Is this gonna just be a fake that uses the La Passione branding or a genuine that passed through some dishonest hands?

Found it easy enough. I’m not very sensitive to bike fit though so it could be miles off.

Yes - all my saddles are cheap Chinese cut out jobs. Light and haven’t broken.

Well they say their stuff is made in italy so I doubt it

You do know that the pictures posted there might not show what you get?
The maker's name given - Runchita - apparently also makes Wiggle's own brand DHB. So, I'd reckon, you'd get something that may look like the original, but has a bad zipper, a weird fit, and tight elastic in the sleeves - based on the one jersey I bought there, I honestly did not know was ripping off a known brand.

Nice starp.
What's it attached to?

Nothing exciting. A Garmin Forerunner 235.

Gabba arrived yesterday, thanks! Lemme know if you want rid of the 235 as well.....
-
• #7062
Based on my recent experience, I wouldn't expect the jersey to be an 'off the back of the van' copy of a genuine brand. Rather it will be something that conceptually looks the same, but is of poorer material, cut and fit. But cheaper

Thanks for letting me know. Can't get rid of the 235 I'm afraid - its vibrating alarm saves my marriage by waking me up to train at stupid hours without stirring my wife.

I've used the fake bontrager XXX ones for the last couple of years and never lost a bottle, even with the amount of potholes we have round here. Think they're on eBay for 6-7 quid

Were the ultra cheap toe straps from Alix any good?
Nope, they were shit. -
• #7067
Pleased with how this looks and it’s nice and light. Quick spin and pics for IG this afternoon.

I’ve also been using two of the fake Bontrager cages for about 3 years. Never had a bottle fall out.

My AliExpress order still hasn’t arrived. The tracking stopped updating when it arrived in England on the 3rd June. Haven’t been able to track it on any U.K. delivery websites.
2 more days and I can open a dispute on AliExpress.

I wouldn't be so hasty, it's only today that the tracking stopped updating. It will come. Sometimes stuff goes to the Heathrow worldwide distribution centre, and they delay you receiving your order.

It was a month ago, it's July now in case you didn't notice :)

I imagine it was lost. Unless someone really wanted 100 cable ferrules.

Has anyone bought any Oakleys or POCs from Aliexpress recently? Looking for a recommended seller.

Is the nose crooked/uneven or is it just the photo?
Did you end up buying these? Looking for a rear wheel and this could fit the bill.
