Data print will always look awful (IMO) but the kit looks decent and kudos for not paying through the nose for it. Thanks for the link(s).
What's sizing like? What size are you normally and what size did you order? -
• #6903
Yeah, I got this because I don't want black tops because of visibility, and I figured the others would be plastered with Rapha logos.
At ~61kg at 1.83m I usually wear S for jerseys (which is not exactly a race fit) and M for bibs. This is an M, and it's mostly fine. A tad tight around my chest, most noticeably in my armpits, but that might just be because I'm used to a more "cyclo-tourist" fit.
Oh and when I asked whether they could also be done without print they replied: "Shikun An: Yes, dear friend, if you don't need any logo, you can leave a message after ordering, we will make according to your request, thank you!"
I'm quite happy with this store, they're really accommodating and appear to only produce after the order, yet still ship within a week.

I think I paid £50 for my Rapha dataprint skinsuit from archive. Most Rapha #buyers are too fat to make it look good so they were forever on sale. I totally love it for short or cx-type rides but probably look pretty silly.
I have one of these in the post so it'll be interesting to compare.

Looks baggy/bunched on your upper arm and shoulders. Wear two baselayers or lift some weights innit ;-)
I'm much the same size/shape and I'm an S in these types of things (pretty much across brands).

Did you also get an S for the Spexcel one? Maybe I'll try one of the shouty pink jerseys in S to see how it fits, lifting weights is out of the question.

Also interested in that Spexcel suit! Looking at maybe getting them to produce some custom kit for a team in future... Black shorts section, white + printed top. Interested to find out about quality of the shorts and overall fit.
@Tijmen I recently received some white (same cut & style as pink & orange ones) Spexcel jerseys (for same team as mentioned above). I'm 181cm/75kg and ordered 'L' after the Gabba-type jersey I got from them in 'L' was a bit tight, so thinking 'M' would be too small, but probably should have ordered 'M'. You should definintely get 'S'. I found the cut of the arms a little too generous on 'L', although a little better in 'M'. Hopefully they won't be too flappy for you in 'S'. -

Yep. Their size chart is weird but the model size/weight is close and size S.

I’ll report back. I guess if a skinsuit fails it could leaves me bollock naked 100km from home ... which sounds exciting.

Cheers, looks just the job. Looks like I'll need to order two for cadence and speed.

How's the fit? Is the chart accurate? I need some commute fodder.

How's the fit?
You know you can just head down to your local Decathlon and try on their nice mitts priced from under a tenner, don't you?
-

Fit seems pretty good. I'd imagine the elastic will go eventually but figure I'll loose them before that happens. As for sizing, can't speak for the chart but went for large as I'd usually do and had no problems

Any opinions on the quality of the knock off Look frames?

Not sure if the customer pictures are a genuine fake or the real deal posted for potential buyers.
Other web pictures show the fork doesn't align as neatly.

I've knocked up a design for jerseys for my student team over a train journey, let's see what they make of it for €17.

Is there a narrow & shallow carbon tubular rim of choice? I’m hoping to find a really narrow one like old-school alloy rims used to be.

Really miss Decathlon for stuff like that. Have used their mitts in the past and would recommend.
This. In fact all the higher end roadie stuff I've had is good ... you just have to negotiate the shitty graphics/colourways.

Anyone ever had one of those Toseek forks?

Looking forward to seeing how it turns out!

looking at options for a new frame, has any bought from Dengfu or Hong fu in the last few months just wondering if the quality is still ok,things change so fast in Shenzhen.
Also any other good rep factories out there. -

Anybody want a no-logos 24 hole Light Bicycle 36mm GlossUD section tubeless rim with basalt brake surface? I originally paired with a most unsuitable hub (narrow body, ugh never again) so I've unbuilt it and started again with other parts.
It's the one with 18mm internal diameter, hook beaded so it can be run with tube tyres too. It's been ridden less than 500K. Probably way less. No discernable damage bar a tiny scuff. Hardly braked on it as it was on a fixed bike, and no brake wear is visible.
It's on ebay at the mo but happy to stop the sale within the couple of days if anyone here would like it.
