Indeed - unless they've compensated for less-than-good consolidation with plenty of material. And of course waffer-thin alloy bars will also be very flexy. Material not being the only consideration, which was sort of the point.

Not got experience with that particular one, but do have with similar ones. That front bolt will be very annoying to adjust because you can't access it from below. It's better to get one like this

Cheers mate. forgot to mention it will be used with a carbon saddle, so will need a nonside clamp.
Not to fussed about carbon actually, fine with alu.
I think the uno stems are very good value weight wise and quality, wondering whether there are the seatpost equivalent really?

also my version didnt have a hole under the ferrule/barrel stop? so if you use a smp saddle or something not horizontal the bolt length has to be pretty exact to go just through the barrel and not further.

tldr: You need a different length front bolt for different thickness saddle rails
