So, dodgy sunglasses. How do you know if they filter UV?
http://healthland.time.com/2009/08/04/can-cheap-sunglasses-be-bad-for-your-eyes/
Glasses that don’t block UV rays may offer some relief from visible
light and reduce your need to squint, but the additional exposure to
UVA and UVB can be harmful. “Let’s suppose you put on a very dark pair
of sunglasses,” Bizer says, “Your pupil opens up, it dramatically
changes in size from half a millimeter to 5 or 6 millimeters. It’s an
enormous increase, and now you’re allowing much more [harmful light]
into your eyes than if you didn’t wear the cheap sunglasses at all.”“Sunglasses without UVA and UVB protection simply filter out the
ambient light, the glare,” Bizer says. “They don’t do anything to
protect you.” And that additional exposure to UVA and UVB rays may
increase the risk for cataracts, macular degeneration and even
development of ocular melanoma — a very rare type of cancer. -

providing they have plastic (polycarbonate - which they almost certainly will because its cheap) lenses then they will filter UVA and UVB as it's an inherent property of the material.

Anyone after a Morchvelo "Melon" lycra kit? #morvelo #watermelon
I have purchased a XXXL kit based on their size chart but it is so so big.
I am 5ft11 / 34" waist, totally non athletic but this would fit someone 6ft2+ with a 38"+ waist so you'll have to pretty much be a unit to wear it.
Quality is fantastic for the price and the bib padding has gel in so will be pretty comfortable.
Only paid £26.50 delivered for jersey / bib shorts / cap so I would like to recoup this plz.

Might be a stupid question, but are the ones you received different to the pictures? All the photos on aliexpress show glasses with no 'oakley' branding and I wondered if this was just so they could avoid copyright stuff but send real fakes to buyers.
-

Both pairs I have bought have had oakley branding on the lenses.
-
• #4636
Did it in the site pictures though? None of them seem to.

1 deffo didn't, can't remember the other one.

Mine are totally different, fully branded. as I said before, barely able to tell the difference.

Yeah, this is what is tempting me by a pair, particularly with the prescription inserts. I'm just struggling to find any items which are fauxkleys and not the same shape but with 'TURBO' or whatever in place of Oakley logo on the lens. I was just trying to work out whether they send out fauxkleys but can't show the branding in the aliexpress listing or something. Did yours show it in the store you bought from?

need some new snowboard goggles. maybe could go through aliexpress too?
-
• #4641
Mine showed their own chinese branding, got oakley.

Perfect, thank you. Just what I wanted to know.
-
• #4643
Companies like Oakley have algorithms that search photos for their logo, so the Aliexpress sellers can't have it anywhere in the pics.

@younf_gun it is now gone - I have passed on the kit to husky @stevo_com fr the price of £25.
I have re-ordered the kit in XL for myself as I was impressed by the quality, especially at this price. (athough I don't know the durability since I haven't ridden it)
