I'd guess it is the same model as all carbon china saddles.

If I was in the market for one with covering I'd probably choose this one:
(how do you guys get those neat, short links?)

Search frogskin on aliexpress.

#1 (and the 25 version ps. you need to double the price), the rim profile on #2 and #3 is not that toroidal (wide).

I've had my eye on these for a while - I emailed and they can make them sans brake track also... I really want to ask if they'll make them with different (better) hubs. Don't see why they wouldn't.

have you come to a conclusion which will be the best carbon clincher disc wheels to purchase? rims designated for track riding probably isnt a poor shout

it looks like CN*Carbon on eBay are cheap, have decent customer service and also don't look any worse than anyone else. They do 'em wide too.

I'll be running them with 23c tyres though, so should I go with the 23mm ones? How come you picked the first link over the other ones?
-
• #4419
I have built some wheelsets on this specific rim - several has run 23c tyres on them with joy.

What are the benefits to having no brake track? I was thinking it would be handy to have just in case I ever needed to throw the front onto my road bike. And when you say better hubs do you just mean fix/fix hubs or are they not great quality?
I wonder if they'd do a 20h front instead of the 24h offered as well.
-
• #4421
Ask them about 20H - they usually can do what you ask them.
-
• #4422
the normal hubs are standard novatecs. They are quite ok imo. If you need better ones might be better just to build the wheels yourself and get flashier spokes as well
-
• #4423
no brake track = lil bit lighter, look a bit pro-er imo. I'll never use a brake on them so no need for I.
I didn't meant to denigrate the stock hubs, which, as the wise @negaatio mentions, are standard novatecs and perfectly functional. I just much prefer threaded hubs / bolts to track nuts, and have some Atomic22 security bolts I would like to reuse.
They'll do 20h, no doubt.
I did the maths a while ago, I would be significantly more expensive to buy the rims and have them built here than I would be to buy the wheels, have them shipped over and replace the hubs later ¯_(ツ)_/¯

And would you go for the 23mm or 25mm rims for 23mm tyres?

for what use? Track or road?
linky plz
