Good points there, I may have to either replace them or go with a shorter stem as there's a 3t 110mm on there at the moment. Reach felt ok on my mock up fitting but it's probably going to be too much once I get hoods on there.
Maybe someone would be interested in the bars for what I paid for them? They're new and unused as the bike isn't finished yet and you don't have to wait a month for delivery. -

Might be interested in this for the other half - need to check stack and reach first though

Anyone tempted by a fake 3T integra stem. Steer clear. It simply will not clamp your bars properly. I had a nightmare installing mine. Knew it was suspect. But rode it anyway (super clever), and yes, my bars twisted forward at the first decent bump.
Bad knews - I was pushing 40+ kph.
Good news - I knew it was suspect, so I wasnt leaning into the bars.I learnt that 110mm 10deg is perfect though. So its not all bad.

Has anyone had any experience with lightweight full carbon forks from aliexpress or similar?
I'm hunting around for something 43 rake, non tapered, will take 28mm tyres and sub 400g that will keep my teeth intact.
Based on that specification should I just paid the price for 3t's or simular?

Think you need to request a technical drawing to make sure the Fundr takes 28c http://www.aliexpress.com/item/FUNDR-Fork-Full2013-Carbon-Fibre-Road-Bicycle-Bike-frame-Fork-look-parts-dogma-carbon-1-1/1661694389.html

Hmmm. I would not ride something that didn't install properly, regardless of where it came from.
You pay your money, you make your choice.
I just wouldn't ride with parts that didn't fill me with confidence. -

What's the current shipping time for rims from China?
I may have pulled the trigger on some Light Bicycle torroidal(ish) rimmage.

It didnt install at first. But I got it there evenually. I had tested it on the turbo trainer too. Pulling and pushing the bars. But I think the sharper force of a pothole, dislodged a slither of clearcoat from the clamp area.
Still a dodgy move on my part.
Thankfully there isnt a mark on my v. expensive bars. Not even the roughened clamping surface shows any sign of wear.

£35 import charges, my carbon rims are on the way! Much excite. Have Novatec SL hubs, need to find some suitable spokes.
For 20/24 spoke 50mm carbon clinchers, anything I should consider other than cx Rays?

That seatclamp system is identical to the current Scott foil one, as is the "cut aerofoil" tube shape, have they just released the new Scott before Scott?
If you look on EBay/ali-Express you'll find a ton of 3T LTD stem copies, and a load of identical ones decal'd up to be ENVE, Bont XXX etc. Those bars are identical in shape to the aeronovas. But I bet you can buy them With ENVE or Zipp decals. My mate has the original 3T team aeronovas, and they are a lovely shape, a good weight. But a little flexi. I have the original ENVE SES bars, and they are also an amazing shape (the bit that convinced me to spend the epic RRP), are pretty Heavy for carbon bars. But almost as stiff as a good round tubed bar.
The advantage of the 3T shape (IMHO). Is the big Reach. With the right stem you can achive a Nice fuax TT position on the Hoods. While still having the flats Nice and Close for climbing in a nice upright position.
I've now done the above faux TT set-up With my ENVE, and find myself holding the tops With just my finger tips when in a climbing position.
Still. Both great shapes once you accept the drops as Your cruise position.
