Has anyone purchased wheels from say seller: carbonwheels2011 ?
Was just looking at these http://bit.ly/XUAOKZ (not sure if that link will work as I'm on my phone.)
Just wondering if anyone had any experience with them? Trying to decide if I should buy those or get some rims built into some nicer hubs.

My Great Grandfather was a cabinet maker who outfitted yachts, and my Grandfather was an architect. So both of them would have used very sharp things, daily.
We've found no moth pupae, or hockey masks however whilst clearing out the house.
:')
This thread, I am intrigued...

I have an 88mm rear, if I was doing it again I'd be inclined to just buy a rim and build it up in the UK, they used a flip flop hub and PG spokes, which isn't really what I wanted

I'm off to the alps in June for an 8 day ride with lots of long descents after the climbs. I've long wanted a 50mm carbon clincher wheel set, but what would be other recommendations around the same price considering they will have to go through a good amount of breaking? Thanks.

I'd get tubs or an alloy braking surface. Too many stories about carbon clinchers unlaminating on long descents for me, but I'm sure someone else will say they're fine :)

Thanks for the suggestion. Hope I can remove those nasty decals...

If they're anything like the rs80's. You can't.

It's possible with some wet-sandpaper-shizzle, but takes more than 10 minutes.

I got the stickers off my rs80 c50s just fine. and then put some of them back on just because. these were a previous year to the above, admittedly, but the rs80 stickers were easy enough to remove it was the 'shimano' ones that were stuck on with some uber-strength sticky stuff.

on my rs80's they were under the lacquer and kind of recessed into the carbon.

My brother would a Pinarello DOGMA 65.1 Think 2 'copy'.

I've had a quick look on Alibaba but would prefer recommendations

I'm made of carbon.

Carbon forms the backbone of all the big molecules which make you a living creature rather than just a bag of primordial soup.

Why did you feel the need to point this out when no one else did?
I think everyone knew what I meant.
I know that we're carbon based life forms.

But Michelle McManus CAN'T be crabon, she CAN'T
They're reasonably priced for the weight, you don't need to build the wheelset ASAP, just buy a component every now and then.
