What size did you go with? How is the forearm clearance in a standing start?
-
• #11553
Mine is 35cm at the drops and 29cm at the hoods, I could have take the smaller size.
It’s more a bunch handlebar so don’t except as much clearance as a real sprint bar -

Ignore me - I'll play it sensible with epicbleedsolutions...

Looking for a rigid boost carbon fork w/internal dynamo wiring and a hole thru the crown. Probably with an A2C of around 500.

Stone chainrings, any good? Not sure if Aliexpress brand or a real Brand being copied??
Or alternatives for 2x AXS 107BCD that are more pleasing than the Force options.
-
• #11557
Yeah, have had 2 stone chainrings for my TT bike - both very good and both from AliExpress

• #11561
Anyone with Stome chainring experience used them for 12s 2x and can report on shifting quality?
-
• #11563
1x - not tried their 2x, didn’t realise they did them but might try a set for my road bike
Very happy with my 1x rings though

I've been looking at the EXS Aerover but they never seem to have any stock. The Avian Falcon looks OK too and is a lot cheaper, the Canary looks a bit too light/flexy though.
-
• #11566
I am looking at both Avian models and I can't see any difference between them other than the marketing blurb saying one is stiffer than the other.
What made you think the Canary was too flexy/the Falcon looks ok now out of interest?

Probably this thread https://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=163899&start=165
I think it's fine if you aren't a sprinter putting out 1300 watts...
Apart from the weight the falcon has like 6mm less reach

How did you get on with this?
I destroyed both my rims in a pothole this morning. Looking at LB's website, it suggests they only give you a 10% discount for crash replacement. Wondering if I'd be better off waiting for the next group buy / random sale when they seem to offer bigger discounts since I have a spare set of wheels albeit nowhere near as good.

• #11569
Only just arrived but yeah only 10% off for crash replacement.
-
• #11570
Ok, so 10% off and two months to deliver sounds like I may as well wait

• #11571
Any recommendations for a 31.6 seatpost - fairly long 350mm or greater? thanks
-
• #11572
I'm not buying these but they're one of the crazier parts I've seen recently
-
• #11573
What do you mean you’re not getting the
Tensile Strength_Mountain Bumpy Impact-No Pressure
High Modulus And High Hardness_Road Pedaling Explosive
Force-Efficient Transmission And Low Loss
pedals -
• #11574
I don't do any mountain bumpy impact riding these days so they wouldn't be suitable

Onirii bar tape is really nice. Just stretch it to the thickness you require. No sticky back.
whats the go to gravelbike frameset supplier thats NOT carbon? Needs to come in XL sizing (60-62)
