Cream need to be encouraged to play better . Fen Boy gets bored beating them endlessly . So maybe this was a good decision . Plus they just missed the qualifiers for the Euros and that made them sad .

ah ah ! we really enjoyed this sunny day of polo, it was great to play with the brighton crew, and beat woody (encore !)

I think my favourite moment of the day was being asked where Thom bird was by someone who had just picked up a call from his boss and told him that he couldn't talk because he was playing bike polo.

His boss thought he was stuck in traffic on the way back from London.

I don't know if he still has a job.

Another Brightoner here. Thanks to everyone for coming, I was afraid that it would be a damp squib but it turned into a BANGER!

Great polo, cool people, contentious reffing decisions (bite me), decent-ish weather all combined with that Brighton atmosphere.

Let's see how long it takes for the Golden Gull to come home to roost!

Thanks to all that came. It was a real pleasure having you all at our home courts. Thanks to the rest of Floating T(h)urd who pulled it out of the hat in the last two games to get a respectable ranking. Thanks to all that reffed as well as those that whipped, cooked, played, organised and supported.

NT dont forget to get the trophy engraved. Brighton want the pleasure of winning gully back and sticking our name on it next to yours
