  • Thank you, we'll try not to disappoint. Which means we'll try to be drunk enough to be funny without being so drunk we're incoherent.

Bridget Christie returns in another series of her multi-award winning series about modern feminism.

    no really, it's very funny

  • Here's a new podcast about precarious work put out by my union, IWGB (also the union of @Couriers) - https://iwgb-universityoflondon.org/2017/04/07/unworkable-episode-1-the-gig-economy/

This first episode looks at Deliveroo, among other things...

  • Aside from our own offerings, I'm also listening to Inside Psycho. It a very detailed study of Hitchcock's movie, from its grizzly beginnings to it's celluloid incarnation. It's a darkly funny and very well produced podcast, really entertaining.

Luci's been at it again. He devotes nigh on an hour to tell you about what his favourite orgy snacks are and plays out the end of the episode with his favourite porn soundtrack.

  • We have a minisode available.
I'll apologise now for sound quality because we were experimenting with new equipment and the final result is rough in places. Still, we thought it would be fun to release the recording as there's fun in there.
We visit a viewing of Withnail & I at a local hostelry and discuss the merits of one of the finest films known to humanity.

  • Saw this comment a week ago and just finished the last episode. Really wonderful.

    What to listen to next?

  • I love Adam Buxton's podcast. Kept me smiling through many hours & thousands of km of train & plane travel, also if you've been unlucky enough to have lost someone close 'Griefcast' by Cariad Lloyd is also pretty good (even if I find her sightly annoying)

  • I had a long drive recently and listened to a lot of a podcast called "The Worst Idea Of All Time" and really enjoyed it. It's two comedians from New Zealand who watch the same (bad) film once a week, every week for a year and review it afterwards. I listened to the second series which was reviewing Sex In The City 2, I think it helps that I've never seen the film.

  • Due to unforeseen circumstances (piss ups, sporting events, holidays, deaths...) we haven't recorded a proper full length podcast for a while, but I'm glad to say The DysFunction Room podcast is back! We discuss movies, books & films, unsavoury incidents on buses, and even pork scratchings. Give it a go!

I don't want to go to Morcombe.

  • last nights edition of " i'm sorry i haven't a clue " .... bbc radio 4.... 18:30
    couldn't stop laughing
not a podcast per se but some of britains finest comedy minds

  • That looks good!!
    Subscribed.

  • I was queueing up this morning's commute podcast list and you can only imagine my excitement at a new TDR sitting there for me.
    I most enjoy these ramblings.

  • Thanks @DethBeard! We put a lot into these recordings. I think this new episode is our best yet. It feels like we're finding our stride!

  • And you get a mention in this weeks Deserter Pubcast Luci... Podcast Royalty now..

  • Do I??
I'm honoured!! I have two of their fine broadcasts still in the bank to listen to - I'll catch up tomorrow. Cheers mate!

  • Anyone else listening to living with the gods?

Living With The Gods - Living with Many Gods - @bbcradio4 http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b09fxxks

Need to catch up with some of them, but everyone I've heard is really interesting.

  • The Downtime Podcast: Interviews with cyclists, mostly DH and Enduro, plus organisers and team staff.

#8, with Katy Winton, was very good.

  • Guys we f***d

    That’s deep bro

  • New dysfunction room, did i accidentally rewind a chunk or was a bit repeated in the middle?
Not complaining, I still enjoy it.
Some actual lols on the tube from me.

  • Song Exploder is excellent. It's a podcast where musicians take apart their songs and tell the story of how they were made.
