can't, it won't register as being connected to my laptop.
That was the first thing I tried, and what Garmin support wanted me to do. As soon as I connect to my laptop the garmin just freezes and cannot be seen by the laptop.

A mount for my Garmin + Cycliq Fly12 cam. Is the official Cycliq offering my best bet?
Have read that the Wiggle version is a bit shit. -
• #4580
I was going to get one of those spendy K-Edge? ones. Oh, does Fly12 use GoPro mount?

Oh, does Fly12 use GoPro mount?
I think so. Don't have it in my hand yet...

If you've already reset it and there's no SD card in there it does sound a bit fooked.
I've recovered an 800 by copying back onto it a stock drive image but if you can't even get the thing to mount in a computer...Oh, try another PC. I had issues with Garmin on my old PC as well, just thinking about it.

I think most cams do. It's kinda a standard now.

yeah tried on 2 x laptops and various USB ports.
thinks it's fucked - just need to convince Garmin to replace it now

yeahh tried that, they wanted me to try again, and then again and then again whilst I was talking to them, so much that the battery died.
I have a full transcript of the conversation though as it was webchat - so just gonna send that over tomorrow and say I have tried everything and it does not work - plz replace

You need to call them. That's how you speak to the people that are sensible!
-
• #4587
Aye, difficult because I seem to work the same hours as them so have to do it whilst working.

Hmm. Manufacturer 256 doesn't appear in the example fit source files (although I doubt I've got the latest version). Could be reserved since it's 2^8.

I thought it looked pretty similar, but it has GoPro mount which I'm after.

I got the file back of the guy from YACF and it imported normally but it's lost most of the speed, power, cadence, etc data after about the 1.5hr mark. :(
-
• #4598
I can have a look at it (at the byte level) if you want, alex @ username . org , may take a while though and can't do it during work time obvs. Promise to keep your puny power figures secret too.
-
• #4599
It's not a time trial so my power numbers are irrelevant. It was a cal event so I could've been chatting with someone or hammering. Obviously I'll have you sign an NDA anyway...

Used my new Edge 130 today, and I'm impressed. The screen is too small for anything other than the most basic navigation, but for logging and data it's most fine. So far.
Have you plugged it in with Garmin Express to see if there's firmware update or something that can be done?
