It can be operated remotely via txt message or from a button on the box. when you need it to the glitter box is activated. Knock knock on the door, it's the po po. No worried just hit the glitter box and your safe.

Right got new HD... Plugged in, it's recognised in the BIOS.
What's next..?
Still keeps telling me 'floppy diskette seek failure'..!! -
• #33
Done that.. Let's see..
-
• #34
Now it tells me ' no boot device available '..?
-
• #35
You may have a new HD, but you now need to install an OS on it. You need to boot off an XP CD or whatever your OS of choice is.
-
• #36
Have you set the HDD to be the boot device? Make it first in the list of boot options (unless you have a CD/DVD drive which you might want to boot off to install a new OS).

XP.... Do I buy that or will DELL have it for me..?
-
• #38
Dell disks might have Windows included.

Dell may have supplied you with a CD you can use, though most manufacturers provide you with a boot CD, which accesses a hidden part of your HD where the OS install is located. As your original HD is fucked this could be awkward.

Thanks for all the help.. -
