• I reckon I can lay this one to rest:

    Fixie nibble: makes cover.

    BMX madness: doesn't make cover.

  • wow! thread over dude.

  • yep, gonna put a brew on now, just got to find my chocolate teapot...

  • Has this been resolved yet?

  • har har.

    Sumo?

    Heh, thought the same thing.

  • Damn. I wanted the thousandth post....

  • This cover just reminded me of that G0!Bomb fixie crew. They called me a cunt, because my "bikes are vintage". Complete misunderstanding of the whole concept of fixed gear cycling.
They thought, that if you don't own a "trick" frame with colourful but weak components (in their case Create with straight forks with painted over headset to match the rims) you have to shut up, because you're not radical enough. Like fixed gear cycling is something hard core and underground.

  • you actually conversed with the Go!Bomb fixie crew? I thought they were like the bigfoot.

    You missed their 'defence'?

It was almost reminiscent of David's appearance on here.

  • the only way to dig is down...

  • O shit. I missed that. Can someone find me the link?

  • it would be the weakest link

    badum tish

  • I'm sure there's some interaction on their flickr..

  • Shit, I thought Loic was just this mild mannered French gentle giant who's into classic French and English period bikes, wears a cape and smokes a pipe. But obviously he has another life.

have not gotten to end of this but DAMNIT that is what i thought too..

  • You'll find Loïc's strenuous denials in due course, Jacqui. ;)

They feature SHOUTY CAPITALS and *OBNOXIOUS FORMATTING*!

  • I know where he got the idea..

  • Like fixed gear cycling is something hard core and underground.

fixed gear is like the new roller blades

however i shall stay fixed and i shall still be crap at bmxing but at least i know which bike to bring out for which occaision

    it's still bi(ke) winning

fuck i spend too much time on the internet, back to what i was doing

  • back to what i was doing

What? Reading more stuff on the internet?

  • What? Reading more stuff on the internet?

oof, just saw that, but no and if i felt the need to explain myself on the interwebz I'd be inadvertantly accepting defeat

  • I do one day of work then I have to spend 15minutes catching up on one thread.

Was certainly worth it though the Catfood's comment "fist in pacifist" et all.

This thread has made me think whether or on I ride in a 'crew' or not though. Hopefully I don't. I'm quite happy without a spare dick.

Oh dear, will people actually think the Loic in question has anything to do with VelLo (who certainly wouldn't be seen anywhere a trick bike)?

  • wow. i dont know.. i leave the forum for RL and look what happens! Fixie Gangs? Fifth floor / frenchman issues... violence. Boys. that's pretty lame.

    Dear Loic / Fifth Floor.
I know you both. WTF? It better all be made the fuck up.. (adopting mom voice) I'm so disappointed.
