Our results are not correct, we shouldn't be that high.
Although, if we did ok today then they won't change that much... we certainly won't move up though.
Are you sure they're wrong? I think you guys just went to the right tournaments. There's still a certain amount of luck of the draw stuff with the amount of competitors at a tourney.

Congrats Nice Touch.
Can I get confirmation on this. The other two thirds of Nice Touch seem pretty clued up with the NS scoring system. What's the deal. Shall I put the champagne back in the fridge?

Working on it right now, double and triple checking everything.

Congratulations to nice touch!
National series has been fun, hanging out playing lots of different scenes and travelling around seeing the country. I hope I gets better and people keep trying to make courts better and bigger and the NS grows each year.

Yep, it's really done the job and has improved UK polo no end I reckon.
Thanks to everyone that hosted a tourney, played, or generally got stuck in.
Congrats Nice Touch!

As well as the right tourney's i'd say it's consistancy, four sets of points all pretty even, looking at the two teams below, they both did better, but also had worse results...
Oh and of course congrats nice touch. And comiserations to spring brake and cosmic. 1 point is such a small amount to put you in second place!

Yep, +1 to the above.
After seeing how many teams from around the country were at Cambridge this weekend and also how many have improved greatly over the last year, I would agree the NS has really helped develop the UK scene - just what it needed.
Well done to every scene that put on a NS tourney this year. I know COSMIC didn't attend all of them, unfortunately other commitments sometimes get in the way, but those we went to were great fun.
I look forward to seeing the UK scene improve and grow even greater, so we can rival our European neighbours as well as help contribute to the development of the European scene as a whole.

The National Series 2011 is finished, thanks to everyone for making it happen! Amazing to see so many new teams and cities stepping up to tournaments.
85 teams took part in total, which is pretty awesome.
15 teams managed to play 3 or more tournaments, and thus qualify for the series. Here are the overall standings!:http://www.nationalseries.org.uk/results/

If anyone wants to talk about 2012, now would be a good time.

• #391
How come our London Open points are lower than our crappier Edinburgh points?
-
• #392
well, you came 20th in the LO and 13th in Edinburgh..
-
• #393
ah, less teams. easier to come 13th than 20th.
-
• #394
i was thinking 'got further in the london open (knocked out 3rd round of double elim) than edinburgh (knocked out 2nd )
-
• #395
yeah. LO was very tricky as it was a very large DE and so many teams 'dropped out' of the NS who placed highly
-
• #396
also, props to hooks for taking part, despite being non-uk
-
• #397
Thanks for the Google doc. Really useful to see.
Team Warin 10th best polo team in the UK!

I think 2012 should have a tourney in Rouen.

You know, like when Le Tour comes to GB/Belgium/Spain whatever.
And I'd rather go to Rouen than Manchester.
Congrats Nice Touch.
