can't believe i missed the first ride cut. though i think i'll make the list, no worries. remember people it is cold and dark out there are those are some really big painful hills. they hurt. oh my good to do they! the amount of pain that you will be going through this early in the season ...i hate to think....remember this ride is in surrey, not essex or north, these are real hills that have 15%-20% gradients.

Fiver says it'll be raining anyway, and the list will drop from 25+ to around 9.
I'll be one of those sacking it off. The rain messes with my hair real bad.
-
• #87
^ Get off here and go and rummage in your spares box for that Sidi ratchet.
Anyway I don't have enough hair to worry about.
-
• #88
Riding with spectacles at night in the rain is rubbish too. I'm out.

They sweat or blow out of my eyes (steep surface to my corneas, plus strong on-the-bike work ethic).

Plus, it's fucking miserable. Just ask Texas about his last attempt at a nocturnal reccy.

seriously though, i am going to ride this route saturday morning and if i am not fit enough to make it up all the hills without walking (likely at the moment) i will drop out and bump someone up.
anyone else fancy it saturday? someone who knows the route would be good!

You're in a coma?
-
• #99
You're being quite lucid, all things considered.
-

In all respect you will walk up at least one of these, especially if you ride it fixed issit.
Hang on. If everyone forms symbiotic hybrids, this is going to be a 50 rider escapade.
Who do I get?
