Lovely little film, what happened to the rubber coated hooks? Much better than what we have these days, bring back the hooks.

Hey just checking in with you boys. Where's the 2012 thread!? I've new frame with hill-climbing provanace so hoping to up my game on TNRC! Hope you all had a great chrimbo n NYE and looking forward to riding come spring.

There's still a fair few weeks before the clock go forward an hour.

Was out on my bike Saturday evening down in Kent (no social life), spotted the radio mast on top of Exedown from Goudhurst.

Sent shivers up my spine, despite the fact that (as the crow flies) it was 16 miles away.

I might not bother this year. I ride Tuesday nights year round anyway, and may have bike commitments elsewhere; and it's too slow these days.

Probably time for some new responsible adults to step up and keep things flowing.

I'm happy to help with the leading capabilities from about midway through the year if need be. Surely Damo will be back out this year?

I can do that, I seem to recall BMMF saying "No virgins" for some rides though

If you turn up on a road bike like I do, don't expect to get into the big ring.

I have a compact- I am normally in the big ring, otherwise milk floats and invalid carriages leave me for dead.

I'm definitely keen to get involved this year. Road bike will be ready by then - don't think I have the skills for fixed TNRC yet.

I would love to be riding TNRC fixed but can't afford another bike now :(
