I'd be in for a GS, so will the others I'm sure, sort it out at the station.

My bike was making some funny noises on the way in today, I had a fiddle with it at lunchtime hope I've nailed it but the test ride will be up to Euston.

Secondary train option: 19h54, arriving 20h18.

Return trains regular until 22h53, then 23h47, 00h38.

GS4 = £5.80; GS3 = £7.75ish.

Could have really done with a ride to blow that meeting out of the system too. The folks on here will never qualify for bad dad or mum and long may that be so.

Tim and Jonny you were thoroughly missed. Thank you Scarlett. Spinning down that wide road was something I had never done like that before! I can see why you would like this route Jonny! Nice ride everybody. Would have liked to talk more with people I had not seen for a while but a new route always is a bit of a challenge.

@ Ludwig - yes, as I mumbled last night, that manic (on fixed) wide open downhill stretch is Pedley Hill, but will be known as Pedally Hill from this point onwards.

A fitting evening's ride for the longest day the TNRC sees. Lovely scenery, company and pace.
Apologies for the disappearance at the end, I was merely upholding a long-standing TNRC tradition. The sprint home. The chance to get the early train was too good an opportunity to be missed by stopping to watch somebody have a piss in the final mile ; )

I knew the barriers would be open Cynthia... honest.

great ride. really enjoyed last night something about the pace, the route, the nice mix of conversation and silence. all good.

that descent was quite fun really.
