Mercian Ride

To all fellow Mercian owners.
I'm organising a Mercian Ride. It will begin and end at the Mercian Cycles shop in Derby, with a look in the factory en route, depending on numbers. I haven't set a date yet as I wanted to gauge interest, plus I need to speak to the nice chaps at Mercian again to confirm. I'm thinking possibly back end of the great English summer. Would any of you s̶h̶a̶n̶d̶y̶ ̶d̶r̶i̶n̶k̶e̶r̶s̶ Londoners be up for coming up for the day?

The bonk, have a word with Jacqui and TS nee Teenslain, as they mooted this ride a couple of years back, when Teens still had his Mercian. Think they had some good ideas for it..

Sounds an ace idea. Assuming I am free and can get up there and back without relying in British Snail I'm in like Flynn. Be good to meet some other Mercian owners, met a few at souths last week and there's clearly more of them about than I see out on the road.

I was thinking maybe early September. How does that sound? Gives plenty of time to organise it properly. It may have to be a weekday to fit in a look around the workshop.
