any time he's said he has to cancel i have a clip from the show in my head. him at the kitchen table peering over his newspaper at what his other half's just announced, brow furrowing in the realisation that another bike ride's off..

@AlpineKate - definitely a few of us ladies on the list - you won't be on your own. I am very excited - have just done a bit of pedal swapping so I can go clipless and hit cruising speed with maximum efficiency. Or fall off.
