Oh noez! Only just seen this...I was stuck at work and didn't get there till 7pm...tried to spot any likely candidates and actually asked one group of girls "are you from LFGSS?" which met with blank looks!
I guessed no one turned up so had a pint and left. Fail! Will try and check site from my phone next time!

I wasn't there by 7, more like half 8 I think. I had a beer on my lonesome, stood around in the way, listened to some mid-nineties dance classics and thought "maybe I don't miss student bars", watched two groups of mostly women for a little while but they didn't look too probable, so I went home. Anyone actually go?!

Ok can i throw the George and Vulture into the mix
Pitfield street, quiet pub, fire, great pizza, good music, central,
Just down the end of my road so I can promise at least one person will be there :) -

I reckon starting a new thread could be the way to go....

Anyone fancy it...the february drinks were a bit of a fail, maybe because they were tucked away in the Jan drinks?
Suggestions for dates/venues/etc...go!

In. One vote for 25th and somewhere we can see our bikes.
Roebuck? -
• #162
I'm down with that. Roebuck has good parking and it might even be warm enough to drink outside. 25th is good too.
-
• #163
I can't do the 25th.
-
• #164
let me know when, I am totally up for it.
-
• #165
I'm up for this, was sick for February's. Any Friday in March is good

In! Was great to meet you all back in Jan, and 25th good for me. Good time to start thinking about some spring rides?

And yes to spring rides too.
(Time to come out of hibernation)
-
• #173

I have a ride route to Windsor that was recce'd last summer, happy to work with someone to make it happen if there's interest.

Where is the Roebuck?
It's that building but those doors are rarely open...if you walk round the building, like turn right through some gates that are to your left if you're facing that red door, you find the main Malet Street building entrance.
It's a big glass fronted building on that side and you want the 4th floor to the Birkbeck Bar. Go through the glass double automatic doors, walk straightforward past the security desk and turn right down the corridor. Take the lifts right at the end of that corridor.
It's easier than it sounds, honest!
