Not read the whole thing, (tldr!) but if I'm not working I'm gonna try and make this! Haven't seen many of you lovelies for way too long, and three christmas parties in less than a week is the way to go I reckon...haha. I'll have a think about food...

my works has a Christmas lunch... on the 15th. so I get to eat and drink all afternoon, leave at 4 and then come eat and drink with this lot at night! woo-hoo!

I've always worked in the not-for-profit sector and always had to pay for our Xmas parties. I thought it was the norm. Now I know otherwise, that sucks!
off to use rant thread now...

I have secured a bed for the night roughly 10 minutes falling off bike away after this. Awesome.

Yup, have to pay. But apparently they more than doubled the company donation to the event from last year. Still. Meh.

I've got 3 work christmas parties - the one for ALL of NHSLondon, the one for our directorate and one for our team and we've got to buy "tickets" for all of them. I'm only going to the one which starts at 2pm in the afternoon though.

^so ridiculous! poots, i have 7 work xmas parties & only 1 is paid for. i'm going to attempt to claim for 2 of them on expenses & forget about the others.

The best I can manage is 2 lunches and a dinner. Fortunately I'll only have to pay for one. CPs are a thing of the past in my sector of the organisation.
