Major and minor is a nifty way of looking at it, I'd still use intention to decide on them though (until taught differently).

Using imagined intention to justify a penalties severity may be fine (I don't know. Need to think about it). The problem is when penalties are not given because of an imagined lack of intention.

The difficulty is that I often don't know until the Friday before. It's likely that next week will be good, any evening except Tues, but I can't confirm until Friday.

Ok, mini bump and we're all pretty flexible... how about Thursday night after North polo (more northies than southies in the list as far as I can tell)? There's no big football matches on so the Orwell will be quiet, or we can have it at my place.

I've also been working on the Euro 2011 rules, so you can have a sneak peak at the proposed additions by Barca and get me to pass on any thoughts you may have to Ale (for consideration) if you like.

I imagine we would go through the rules, specifically covering any rules which do vary (for example it was 3 players cross after the goal before the reset in the league, only 2 in cambridge tourney).

And then maybe discuss certain situations, how to handle them, and advice on how to ref.
