...the saddle height would have been the cause.
I was JUST going to say that as my back is fucked after having my saddle 1cm too high for 100+ miles (it was already fucked but it was getting better with stretching, but this has exacerbated the problem)My legs seem to be getting shorter too as I've gradually dropped the saddle about 1cm lower than it originally was (i.e. 2cm total), and it still feels 'normal'. Which is weird as anything lower than my usual height feels impossible to pedal properly

Reading this ^^^^^... I feel kinda guilty, perhaps I could'a tried harder at the nationals and squeezed that 0.6s to win. As I didn't even ache after the nationals :|. My legs were knackered after the BHM round, and hurt at the start of the nationals on the following Saturday but not even a twinge or ache after the nationals... weird :|. then again I hit my leg and I get a bruise two weeks later so maybe I'll ache next week.
I do have an inversion table at home which is just the shit for sorting out a fatigued/achey back and bolloxed hip joints.

A quicky.did you do that with the live view hack that you mentioned?

I'm not sure what you mean, Lee?
I shot it using 'live view' on my dslr if that's what you mean?I'm quite happy with the results, but it is a bit grainy... I did shoot in the highest iso though due to the darkness in there. I also need a way of transfering HD footage from cam to comp without losing quality.
Pah!

I thought you had a 1000D? You can't shoot video with it but you mentioned something about being able to record the live view as a way of capturing video footage. Or have you had a new camera since then?
-
• #263
That'd be it then. I have a 550D now! the whole reason I slung the 1000 was for this reason... no real movie capabilities.
Schoolboy error on my part.
Nay bother tho, I'm happy now! x

Assbad.

• #265
I'm considering the 550D. I have a 300D at the moment! Worth the extra few quid over the 500D?
-
• #266
I have a 350D, it is a pile of rubbish...always breaking! I can never get the photos to come out how I want. Film SLR's? Fine!
-
• #267
what exactly keeps breaking on your 350d? & how do the photos come out vs. how you want them to?
-
• #268
I like this talk but... Camera thread?
Anyway Casasteve, get the 550, you'll love it... I think the 500 is the older version of the 550 and you don't want old do you? ;)
And MG. Rubbish you say? I too would like to hear how so?

What time of the year are we looking at Rapsac?
flat or TT training conditions the glutes and lower back ,thats why dutch and belgian road riders have big fat arses. Some gym work can help strengthen lower back muscles ,Pista boy would be better at recommending excercises for this though.Get to a physio and get it massaged properly to loosen up the knotted muscles before you push to hard again
