• I'm selling my Bob Jackson Vigorelli, 62cm seat tube c-t.

There are a few scratches here and there but nothing major. No dents or dings.

£250 + postage, which will probably be about £15

I'd pay £200 for the BJ if you'd take it.

  • Bl**dy 'ell!
Even tho i'm 6'3" with 36" inside leg & alwys on the look-out for that frame for the 'larger' man....
    ...I gasped at this bike!

  • I think I saw a 70cm frame Bob Jackson for sale a while back.

How tall are you lot, anyway? I'm 6ft exactly but I ride a 64cm frame with a good ten inches of seatpost. I suppose I must be very lanky.

  • ^ not possible.

  • ^ not possible.

He didn't say he used a saddle...

  • ^ You would say that...

  • .

He didn't say he used a saddle...

  • Behold my spider-crab bike. Ten inches to saddle top, I should say.

wonders how long until this bike appears in anti-porn

  • Nice bike.
Would have preferred to see a man 75% legs.

  • Thanks. It looks a lot better, aesthetically, when viewed from a normal angle rather than dead-on.

Unfortunately I am only 48.6% legs according to my back-of-a-fag-packet calculations.

  • This 25" (64cm) Raleigh frameset with an Armourtex respray will be available soon...

I'll list it in this thread before the main forum but PM me now if you want to register interest.

  • slightly larger than average bike

  • Coolest bike I have seen in ages

I bet even you couldn't stand over that!

  • I bet even you couldn't stand over that!

    Ouch!!
Bet Apollo cld, judging by the height of that seat on his huge Raleigh.
Hey, Apollo - dare to share yr vital statistics? ;)

  • This big one for sale: Concorde astore, 63 cm c-t, Shimano 600 STI and brakes, Dura Ace drive train, Columbus Cromor.

Maryann - is this one still for sale?

  • I'm on the lookout for a fixable Rando/Audax frame.
Not truly massive but I thought maybe some of you lanky freaks of nature might have one you've been convincing yourselves isn't too small.

Wanted: Classy British frame 61 or at a push 62 c/t x 57/58 cc steel, horizontal top tube and dropouts, space for 25 mm tyres and full mudguards.
    Oversize tubing would be ok.
I already have a (poorly built) Pennine in this size but I'm looking for something nicer.
A candidate for a repaint is fine.

can be split to whatever needed

  • If I had the space I'd bite your hand off

  • Dawes 64cm ctc frame & forks in 531, plus BB and Tange headset

In my possession since 1988. Sorry to see it go, but would be even more sorry to see it waste away hanging in my garage. £95 posted.

  • That's a nice frame/bike Hillyben.
    I'm considering it.

However I've realised that a frame that needs repainting or at least hasn't got new paint is what I really want.
I want to add braze ons for a little front rack/bag support and possibly centre pulls.

  • there's more than one way to skin a cat (support a bag) i.e. the stem bar hanging old carradice/karrimor jobs, think i've got one. But i'm sure you've looked at options.
